Save yourself time and money and look the other way!!! What was experienced during our first and last event here at Verdi was absolutely horrible. A week prior to our event was when Hurricane Hilary was all over the news and that's when I reached out to the manager who confidently assured that they are well equipped for the tropical rainstorm that is to come on 8/20. A day before our event of 125 people, I had guests reaching out worried about what could possibly happen and that's when I asked the manager, Masha, what would happen if we were to postpone. I was told we would lose our deposit and she made sure to reassure me again, that they were fine during the heavy rains earlier this year, so she had no doubt that it would've affected the restaurant in any way as the so called 'roof' is completely covered. I checked in again about 3 hours before our event on Sunday and she said it was completely dry. At 4, when we walked into the restaurant, we were caught by surprise to see the floors had puddles of water all around. During that time, my mother in law, my mom, and myself reached out to the manager about the situation. The manager said she would try to get someone to put a tarp up, but wasn't able - this should have been done prior the event in preparation for what was all over the news - hurricane turning into a heavy rainfall. She then called the owner who is out of the country who thought the best resolution would be for us to have the option to postpone our event with no deposit held. Mind you, at this time, more than half of our guests are seated waiting for the party to begin, all of the decor has been set, and all of the vendors are present. After this, he settled for 1,000$ flat discount (off of a 20k+ event) and while the manager and waitress were passing this information on, they threatened that if we didn't settle for this, the hot entrées would not be served to our guests. I was furious. But I looked into the restaurant and saw that our guests were witnessing what was going on and noticed that we were already an hour into our event and weren't getting anywhere to reach a happy median of a resolution. So, I decided to drop it and apologize to my guests and share my love for their dedication and make most of the situation instead. The minimal towels on the floors would not be taking care of the fact that multiple tables had rain dripping onto their hair, their shoulders, their plates, cups, napkins, food, EVERYTHING. At around 6:30 (2 and a half hours after our event began), I went to the kids food table to find that the pasta was never brought out and the pizza looked DISGUSTING. I walked back to look for Masha, I asked if she had seen what the pizza looked like and asked for her to come and take a look. She confidently said she's aware of what their pizza looks like. I asked her another time to walk with me so i could show her what I'm seeing for myself. She finally did and on the spot, she offered to order Dominoes. YES, 1000% yes. That's what a manager should do is acknowledge and take ownership of what the truth is and fix it on the spot. Why should I, the host, have to worry about things being in order, why should I have trust issues in what was discussed and what was in our contract? And then later, I found out that the kids at the event before ours was served the same exact food items we had, except ours was without juice, but they paid 7$ less per kid than what we did. 45$ per kid for fries, chicken nuggets, funny looking 'pizza' and then pasta that didn't show up until 2.5 hours later that the host had to check in on? What a rip off. Things still aren't making sense, right? The valet guys told me they would let the manager know the final number of cars that they had and though their policy is '1 car per person if the host takes care of the bill' the least they could have done was not make a profit in the valet category because we clearly had at least 30 guests who didn't show, and families who carpooled together

My wife and I had our wedding here 9/10/23 All I can say is the service and Masha were absolutely perfect! Nothing but GREAT service! The food, accommodation, staff were so amazing! They over delivered on everything. All the guests were satisfied & impressed with just top notch service. Thank you for making our day a beautiful day to remember. If I could give 100 stars I would. I didn't think I'd get baptized by their filthy ceiling that was leaking from the vents also onto me and the food on the table. Yes it was during the hurricane..BUT HEAR ME OUT.... Floors were wet , seats were wet , it was a hazard to walk... No signs of the floors are wet.... It was a big mess. Also the server at our table was horrible. It was like a game to them ... let's see how fast I can drop this plate off before they ask me to serve or want something. Like common... your a waitress/server. Yes the restaurant is beautiful. But that's all I got to say about it. Everything else sucked.

They put lipstick on a pig and called it Verdi Garden Venue. It's a cardboard structure tied together with string. Management refused to cancel or postpone during a hurricane until all the guests were already in attendance - with their hair and makeup all done up. Nice joke. The floors were wet, no slippery signs put up, and all the management cared about was $$$$. You're going to get screwed financially, and end up with a headache instead of enjoying your event. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

This was the absolute worst hall I have ever been to. The female waitresses were so rude. I didn't understand why they were absent unless they were bringing out platters of food. They didn't serve until someone at my table kindly asked if they could put a mushroom on her plate. The waitress literally flung it down so hard the hot juices splattered over the woman's face. The manager was completely unprofessional, and I witnessed her yelling at the host of the party. The food was overly salty, and everything tasted "off." The pickled vegetables were rancid. The kid's pizza looked disgusting, and ended up being replaced with Domino's. The only soda on the table was diet coke and flat. This was my mother-in-law's 2nd time coming to this hall for an event, and she had warned us that it gets very hot. This was the case even during a storm. Multiple women were complaining about the heat in the dirty and unstocked restroom. There was water damage everywhere we looked above us. Water dripping from the air vents, the sprikler, the ceiling, and throughout the tent. There was water all over the floor, and no warning signs were laid out. You couldn't dance or walk around without the fear of slipping. This place was just an absolute disaster. Stay away.

Therefore every few days prior to the event we were calling to make sure they were going to be prepared for the rain. The manager refused to take responsibility for anything and was extremely rude and defensiv. she offered absolutely no remedy for any of the issues at hand. I can go on and on however there is not enough room. the kids menu was missing pasta (that if I didn't mention wasn't going to be brought out), the pizza looked like play dough that was melted together. Overall horrible experience and a sorry excuse for a "business"

We had such a fun time celebrating out wedding at Verdi! Everything was so beautifully prepared and planned with an exceptional staff helping us along the way. Masha manages everything with the best quality and professionalism, but also makes the process so fun. The service was so wonderful, and our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was! We recommend this venue and restaurant for any occasion.

Attended my aunts baby shower here and wanted to leave a positive review since I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Plus there aren't many reviews and I figured I should leave one if any of you would like to host an event here.The julien was good as well as the xachapuris but the chi kufta they had was insane ! Instantly devoured. Been to a lot of Armenian venues where they serve ehhh kinda food and I would never touch their raw meat but this place was definitely different but everything tasted good! To give you some insight, there was this garlic eggplant dip, tricolor olives, spicy corn dip, and Caesar salad and etc. Like I said everything was bommbbb.Service is good too! The workers who cleaned up and set things up were quick, the waiters were very kind and thorough. Definitely had no problems. Now for the inside it was already naturally very pretty and the decorations we gave were simple and cute very happy how it turned out. Stress free event
