“This review is long overdue! I've visited this establishment for the last year at least once a week for their protein waffles and yummy drinks. They offer a variety of protein shakes, lifted teas, aloe shots and protein waffles! It's like an all in one stop for that after workout treat! The owner and her employees are extremely sweet, kind, and welcoming which reflects in their shop. They have a very cozy set up that is extremely inviting to hang out or even study. Highly recommend trying their classic waffles, they are our go to!“

“My server Alys, the cook Ricardo, and cashier Emma made me and my fiancés day! We stoped in for a quick bite to eat for the first time and was met with some of the best customer service with a smile and one of the very best double bacon mouth watering cheeseburgers that I have ever tasted! Alys was on top of her game, made me feel like I was family! She manicured our table really well and made sure our drinks was always full and also made sure we had everything possible to enjoy our lunch! “A different, but good version of a burger. We had a smash burger, aloha,. Burgers were messy and loved it. Chunky pineapple and small sliver of beef. Kind of odd yummy. Setting was bar type with spread out areas. Nice place to visit. Staff was upbeat. Nice for a change. As always post wherever your palate ends up.“

“This place is amazing. It was my first time here and we had a rather large group (8 ppl) and they were able to move tables and chairs for us. The place is small but really cozy. The food was amazing and they have nice plates and cups which just adds to the atmosphere. They are so kind and again food is amazing.“

“This is a very cute ice cream shop and my kids loved the old school ice cream shoppe aesthetic when we visited. It was very packed and there was very limited seating, so as soon as you see an open table, I highly suggest you send someone over from your party to reserve it. They did get part of our order wrong, but as soon as we noticed and brought it back to the front counter, they swiftly exchanged it for the correct order. It is a bit on the expensive side, so be prepared to spend quite a bit more than you'd spend at cold stone or baskin robbins.“

The breakfast and coffee varieties are diverse.I opted for the green and cheddar cheese with eggs on a bagel, which proved to be exceptionally tasty. The matcha latte with whole milk, without sweetener, was pleasantly devoid of any grassy taste. The cranberry pumpkin cake bread offered a delightful blend of sour-sweet flavors, while the vegan chocolate chip muffins were chocolatey, luscious, and pleasantly cakey rather than dense.Overall, a delightful culinary experience and welcoming baristas! “Loved it! 1st time visit on a Sunday afternoon. Super friendly and fast service and delicious ciders. Tried a flight of five ciders: apricot, raspberry, black currant, vanilla brown sugar, and cranberry. I usually like fruity ciders best, but the vanilla brown sugar was my favorite. Raspberry was a close second. Had a Mexican food truck there with tasty tacos.Small place in a warehouse setting, but had lots of outdoor seating and set up a heater for us. Also had a tv to watch the football game.“

“I ordered there Shelly's nachoes. It's so big you can order this for dinner. My husband and I share it sometimes it's so big. My boys like the burgers and chicken fried steak! Service is fast and cordial. The bartenders is very attentive and helpful.“

Always friendly, knowledgeable, great manners, usually prompt with service but on an accession or two when they were slammed with customers I've had a short wait but during that time they with have a light-hearted conversation making the wait seem shorter, and eager to help. The one complaint I have is when they're out there in line taking orders and cars that showed up long after I was there were being served before me. That happened mostly when they opened up although it can and will and does still happen from time to time. Overall a good experience.Parking: It's a shopping center so it has a lot of room to park.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have that.“

“First of all, this place is what downtown Riverbank needs. A reason for people to come downtown, hang out and socialize. Black Sheep has a nice atmosphere with the ability to dine outside if you wanted that includes a gas firepit to sit by. Plenty of room for indoor dining as well. “We went here for the first time for our Valentines dinner this year. We had Brian as our waiter and he was fantastic. My wife has gluten allergies and he was super attentive to this all night. No headache the next day! Great job. The food was delicious. Everything we tried had great flavor and was cooked to perfection. This is NOT a cheap cafe. This is fine dining done well. “I've dined in here with my mother recently... it was a very pleasant experience the waitress/ cashier was very nice and helpful and the food was really good. ALTHOUGH it is quite pricy but I think you're paying more for the dine-in experience“

“At first we were hesitant to have dinner here, but everywhere you go in a Saturday night is always Jam Pack! This is a hidden gem for sur. It's not fancy, more like a diner vibe but very clean. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and always kept checking g up on you mami g sure your drinks were topped off without even asking. Hubby ordered the grill salmon and I a lobster tail both cooked to perfection. The garlic shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Our least favorite item was the clams and mussels the were over cooked and lacked seasoning, compared to the devious garlic shrimp we ordered. I ordered a mojito I ask the hostess how they make them here soda verses sparkling water the bartender specifically came to our table and explained to me how they make it and how I would I like to have it he would do it. Needless to say it was perfection! Most defiantly going back again. This will be our new date spot the service was amazing, the place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious! We are so glad we found our new to go place.“

“An absolutely amazing restaurant, on par if not better than other local places like the Red Wood Cafe in Modesto or the Market Tavern in Stockton! A Matter of Taste brings unique made from scratch dishes that are expertly crafted, served in a wonderful atmosphere! We had the fish tacos and chicken piccata, with pretzels as an hors d'oeuvre, and had their chocolate cake and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Don't sleep on their house made desserts which are amazing! Hands down. Best cheesecake I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of cheesecakes! Not only is the food amazing, but it can't be beat at this very reasonable price point! The service was also impeccable, big thanks to our server Dean! I got helped by someone named Jenna and I just have to say she was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She made me feel welcomed and made sure my time there was great. I was craving two things, I wanted a shake, but I also wanted a cup of their salted caramel pretzel yogurt. I was talking to the lead on shift. Natalie and I told her that I wanted both. Right away she had the idea of making me a cold brew shake with the salted caramel pretzel flavor yogurt, and oh my goodness it was amazing, she gave me everything I needed. Her customer service was incredible. Her friendliness and compassion towards not only me, but other customers was felt. “This was my first time to this subway. It was very clean inside the two young ladies that helped us on Easter were very nice and answered a lot of questions about the sandwiches. One of the young ladies even gave us information about the job for our daughter.I went with the chicken teriyaki wrap and and the other was a regular chicken wrap in a meal. I would definitely go back just based on my experience alone.“

“We love going to this restaurant for happy hour drinks and appetizers or to dinner with our kids. The food is delicious and the prices are super reasonable. The staff is so friendly and we love our bartender Franny who always takes the best care of us, knows our drinks and makes them perfect every time! We haven't tried a bad thing on the menu yet, the frozen margaritas are on point, and if you haven't had one of the staff come to your table to make the guac in front of you and to order with a side of flour tortilla chips, you're missin out!!“

“Always have to have Mis Compadres when I come back to Modesto. The food here blows away literally every Mexican food place I have tried in the Bay Area over the last 5 years, it's not even close. Food has always been made perfectly to order and is hot and flavorful. Service is fast and courteous. When they brought me a new plate to my surprise my side that was supposed to be on my plate the first time suddenly showed up. I had to send it back again it was honestly the worst tasteless horrible dish I have ever been served . They asked me if I wanted to order something else so I ordered breakfast and they brought me two separate “saucers” one with eggs hastily slapped on the plate and the other with hash browns. “How this place has some amazing boba tea! It's really hard to pick a favorite, but I think so far strawberry is mine. Especially if you get the strawberry popping bubbles. My son recently had an Oreo milk tea that he loved! I wish there were more hot offerings, but I suppose bubble tea is bubble tea! Will certainly be back“

“I am writing this review after coming to this restaurant/pub for the 1st time. The food was great. I had the Thai chicken tacos which were an amazing appetizer. I also had the Philly cheesesteak, which was the best cheesesteak I've ever had and I've been to Philly and had Geno's. The only I could really criticize is that it is a little small inside and doesn't have too much seating during the months when the weather isn't nice. I went in December a couple days after Xmas. They have a nice outdoor area, but it isn't really utilized during the winter it seems, although I did go on a Wednesday. Maybe on the busier nights it's open with heaters. I'm not sure. I'm sad to see that some of the recent reviews are not great because the food was awesome and we didn't receive bad service at all especially considering there were only 3 people total working. I would recommend trying this place.“

“Ok so I haven't been to this place in several years and now I remember why. As there food is pretty good the drive thru takes over 15mins just to get your food. I understand it needs to be cooked, and it is probably cooked fresh to order I get it but if you're in a rush may want to go somewhere else instead. There were no cars ahead of me and I was the only car in line and I didn't leave the drive thru from ordering to pickup until 18mins later from entering.Ok so now about the food, just wanted to give you all a heads up on the drive thru situation. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger meal with a side of jalapeños to add to my burger. It was $16 before tax to me that's pretty steep. My family of 4 ordered meals along mine and it came out to $63 total.I gave 4 stars only because of the long wait. But other than that it was pretty good. But probably won't be back again for a while again.“

“I like coming here with my daughter or my family. I like the whole outdoors idea of this coffee stop. I'm a Type 1 Diabetic, so I only get an Americano with splenda. If my blood sugar is running low either a chocolate chip or lemon muffin top are my go to's!!!! My Americano is ALWAYS delicious! And they keep the muffin tops cold which I really like! They have 2 people outdoors taking orders in the drive thru. And there is a small patio/ seating area with a walk up window to order outside too. I've been to several Dutch Bros and haven't had any problems! They keep them pretty clean ( no garbage or cups or food wrappers scattered or flying around) and pretty steady flowing. Dutch Bros has become one of family's special treats now!“
