I came for poki burrito and poke bowls. The soda machine was broken, the place looked kind of run down. One of the 2 workers did not know how to make the poki burrito and lacked a smile. I also did not get my poke bowl placed in the bag with my burritos. He accidentally put it in a togo order after making it for me. The food was good and hit the spot. the owner needs to come down to make some fixes and do some training of staff before sending them to the wolves.

Small piece of paradise. We found this little poke location in Escondido and were blown away. The inside is bigger than it looks from the outside. Well managed space. Plenty of dining area. Lots of menu and fish options, as well as chicken teriyaki plates for those with you who dont like fish. Three different kinds of musubi available. Friendly staff. The food was excellent and the price was on par with many other Poke locations. I believe I paid $20 for a large Poke bowl with three scoops of fish and a drink. This place is worth a try if you are a Poke fan and are in the Escondido area. Also lots of stores and shopping options in the same shopping center.
Excellent flavor combinations.I have not seen the selection of this many fish selections anywhere in North County. The price is on par especially for the taste!!The staff is very attentive. They will mix your rice and salad together or any other combination upon request.I appreciate that. Always tip em.

I had the two fish poke bowl and it was delicious. Tuna luau is fantastic because it comes with avocado chunks. You can add a bunch of toppings for free too.

The staff consistently place all chairs on the tables to 7:30pm during the week to discourage customers from sitting. The posted closing time is 8pm.They put away most of the food and get it on request.Escondido CA location

Place is okay but not very portion friendly. I got a small scoop of white rice and I asked for just a bit more and they said it would be extra? I wouldn't be asking for a bit more if you gave me the proper portions. They cross contaminate between ingredients which might not be a problem to them or some customers but for food safety, it is a big issue. I am allergic to onions and my edamame had bits of onions in it from most likely falling into the container when they reach over to scoop them up. Do better. I remember when this place first opened up, it was the best poki place around with fresh fish you can taste. I rather go to Poki Poki down the street which isn't much better.
