I order rolled tacos w/ guacamole, tacos were cold, guacamole don't look and taste like guacamole, it tastes nasty and it look like diarrhea. It appears that the cook invented his own guacamole to substitute real avocado. Not coming back to that Alberto's. Ordene rolled tacos, tacos estaban fríos, guacamole no parecía o sabía a guacamole, sabia terrible, y parecía chorro. Parece que el cocinero inventó su propia receta para substituir el aguacate. No vuelvo a ese Roberto's.

Love thier chicken tacos. One taco is a meal in itself. Under 5 bucks a nice price for a quick lunch on the go. Been going to this Albertos since I was a kid. Try thier carnasada nachos too are fabulous.

I just want to say, for what used to be the worst taco shop in town for many years, just may be the BEST one right now. New management? New cooks? I don't know who's cooking back there, but the carnitas is incredible. The tacos are the size of other places' burritos. Used to be that portions were huge but quality was poor. That is no longer the case. I'm sure prices have increased, but wow, the quality AND the quantity is unbeatable. And the customer service was perfect as well. Good job, guys !

There are lots of taco shops to choose from in Esco but Alberto's is my favorite. Maybe it's the yellow and red painted building, but everything just tastes better here. I usually get the California Burrito or the Carne Asada Nachos. Service is always fast and staff are friendly. Not in the best part of town but worth giving it a try!

Taco shops are a dime a dozen in Escondido you would think anactual Alberto's would keep up their quality. If you're gonna raise prices due to inflation, the food should stay the same. I'm not paying $10.76 for a mixed burrito that used to be mostly meat with some beans. Now it's mostly beans with some meat and large onions and bell pepper's.
