I had a wonderful lunch today and I was treated so special. I had a server named Mari. She spent time with me making sure my order was what I wanted. She didn't rush me . I loved the food , but I must say that Mari is a Gem. Thank you for making my Mother's day so nice!

Afterwards, the food did not come as we ordered it and I had to organize my plate in my table really bad experience I don't want to say it but I felt discriminated against for being Latino

Last night we went to Black Angus. The food was amazing, our waiter was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend the meal for two special that is around 70.00. You get an appetizer, 2 meals with sides and you get to pick a dessert. The wait was about 30 minutes, but it was worth it.Kid-friendliness: Have a kid menu, coloring , crayons, and high chairs

I went for Cinco de Mayo because they had $2 margaritas. You can laugh (I did), but the food and margaritas were excellent. They were very busy and the bartender (Gabriell) was doing everything. She was very friendly. I have not been here in a while but based on this visit, I will be back.

Choose the 2 for 69 and added a beer and ice tea. Total was over $80. 1 starter , w salads, chicken with Mac n cheese, salmon with traditional baked potatoe and a slice of carrot cake. Food was decent. We did find it odd that sauce for the chicken was offered but for an additional cost. Really? How much does it cost to give someone 2 oz of BBQ sauce when they are paying $80 for their bill? That seemed a little cheap to me. Add flavor and maybe you'll have returned guests.I noticed the staff had started to eat at a table behind us. Lots of other staff visiting them at that table . Id suggest they speak with their staff and advise they still keep a certain level of professionalism when dining there and refrain from cursing. Not a good look.Our waitress was very sweet and very attentive.

Black Angus is showing its age as a brand. Service and food are a 3-star at this particular restaurant. This is in comparison to Texas Roadhouse which outshines Black Angus in every aspect.To quickly summarize, the last visit the atmosphere is dark and drab, the food choices haven't changed in 6 years, and the steaks for which they are known for were not great, despite being over cooked. The Black Angus brand needs a reboot and a modern update desperately.
It may be your grandpa's steakhouse, but that does mean it isn't that for a very good reason. Excellent food here, tasty drinks, great atmosphere. Sometimes, the old ways are the best ways.

We always have a great time at the Escondido Black Angus. We call it our "second kitchen". John, the manager, does a great job of hiring a great staff and setting the ambience for high quality, warm, friendly service. The prices are reasonable and the food quality is consistently good. So, we'll keep coming back especially for the many special offers and promotions they regularly have.

We came in Friday night for a birthday dinner. Our server was Ellyse M and she was outstanding. She was very personable and on top of everything. The steaks were cooked perfectly and everything was delicious! We will definitely be going back.

Used a groupon for the shared appetizer, 2 entree with 4 sides and a shared dessert. Everything was actually really good but the steaks were a bit disappointing in taste. I ordered ribeye ans it was cooked as I requested, just no taste. We added seasoning and it was fine. But you know, when you go to a steakhouse and the least palatable item is the steak, it's a little disappointing.
