Awesome spot, great craft beers at a more than decent price. Had the Mexican lager and a ‘left coast pastrami’ sandwich. Will definitely come back, the girls at the bar were very attentive. Only minor downside is their early closing time.

First off, we love this Boards and Brew. Beer and sandwiches is a win/win for us. We live up here in Escondido so we use to drive down to Del Sur or Mira Mesa to get our fix on, and those locations are great. But this location, well it’s close to us, but I’d rather drive to Mira Mesa. The lady waitress that was helping was just rude and mean to me and girl. Throwing our drinks on the table and just didn’t want to help us in general. First we thought she might be having a bad day, but I observed that she was super nice and smiles to everyone else. I don’t know what we did to her? But because of this we are never coming back to this location.

Super bomb sandwiches for like $10 or so and totally worth it. I always get the Baja chicken(with grilled peppers and melted jack cheese) but the Italian is pretty good too (although super simple so don’t try it if it’s your first time). The dirty sauce is my favorite-but it’s not for everyone. Awesome brews on tap and a miniature bar to sit at.
