Closing down tonight Jan. 20th. Too bad. Only place we could come with our adult son on the spectrum. He really enjoys their pasta, shrimp appetizer and we enjoy the drinks spinach appetizers too. Guess it's On the Border for now. The BK's nearby is always too loud and busy with long waits fur dinner crowd. Enjoyed the staff.

Service is so incredibly slow at the bar. Been waiting for the check for half an hour after I finished eating. More and more people keep getting seated and I'm just sitting here waiting. They must be understaffed, or something- unless I just specifically get ignored every time I come here. Also got the wrong item, but its cool.

Came to the Escondidoc location of CPK in the Westfield mall..Omg..the place was a total mess..walking through the restaurant i wanted to change my mind about eating there but i was tired and hungry..we chose to take out our meal instead..We ordered 2 Chicken tequila pasta dishes and 2 cokes to go.. we sat at the bar located in the Mall while waiting for our food..Inside the restaurant, i noticed almost every table to be cluttered with dirty dishes leftover over the previous customer..never seen anything like this ever..i hope the manager Brian Fox sees this review because it left us never wanting to return..My normally favorite dish disappointed us....the pasta was very undercooked and one of our dishes was plentiful with chicken and red bell peppers..the other lacked both items...We paid close to sixty dollars for lunch..not sure if ill ever go back...

Great happy hour deal. Large portions. Delicious food. Highly recommended.
Overall it's pretty good. The food is just as quality as any other location. My only issue is that the service can be a little disorganized and inconsistent. Mostly because it's in the middle of a mall. They want you to wait for a host to seat you, but when I arrived I had to wait for 15 min before anyone even saw I was there. Not personally a deal breaker, but good info to have.

I was here the other night with some family. i would give it a 4/5 as all the appetizers, entrees, and desserts we had were really good. our waitress was only very kind and attentive. the only tho k i would say was the lettuce in the salad was pretty wilted. we ordered a margarita pizza but ended up getting a barbecue chicken pizza instead due to miscommunication. still, i believe i would have liked the barbecue one anyway definitely a 10/10 with the pizza

I ordered 5 pasta 3 pasta was so salty after I talked to the waitress she change it with a new ones then after they changed it it's even so much saltier than the first order we wasted our money for 3 pasta that is $25 each the cook should get fired he doesn't care about the food taste don't eat here before you get sick it's not worth it don't tell me I didn't warn you...remember this is the California Pizza in Escondido north county mall...

Excellent customer service provided by William. Drinks were filled, order taken, salads arrived fast and pizza took a lot of minutes. Took longer than expected but arrived hot and was delicious. Great customer service. Happy customer Laura

Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower was a bit watery, so when we bit into it, it was mostly water.. I’ve had cauliflower bites that were a little more dehydrated then that so it just felt like kind of eating water but the Buffalo had great flavor. The pizza was standard. Nothing special but good. And the Cedar Plank Salmon was a smoked salmon cooked on a cedar plank with really good flavor. It was served with a side of spinach and corn succotash that was really fresh and tasty. The server was super tentative to us but it wasn’t that busy. The restaurant was pretty empty and kind of dark inside. Over al good experience but kind of overpriced.

Bad service, bad and expensive food, watch out for future Costco not only their food is much better but way less expensive. I was able to take a pic of the pizza they were going to give me all burned out, they had to remake it. I don't recommend this place , I am done period.

My husband and I eat out more than we probably should. We have been to this chain before but never to this location. The host had us standing there for a few minutes to finish his conversation with a friend of his... ok go ahead that's fine. We are seated in the nearly empty restaurant, sounds good to us. Our waitress Sierra takes a minute to come over ... maybe 5-10 min, just to order drinks. Comes over again so we order an appetizer and our meal. The appetizer took a good 20 min in An empty restaurant. She was talking to kitchen gentleman the whole time. Brought it to us lukewarm stick the the side and hard on the top, and our meal came out 5 min later, then she disappeared. Refilled us once then disappeared again so we had to call out for the check. Both meals were not great and small portions. My husband had to pick the tails off all his shrimp and my sauce was definitely burnt. Yuck.. save your money for the many other places close by do not go here.
