We drive 20 minutes here to have some good mariscos (seafood) in the northern part of san diego. The food is very good fresh delicious flavors! And their drinks are too! The micheladas come in many diffrent flavors!KEEP EM COMING! All that good stuff aside unfortunately the place is very dark & ranned down.best way i can explain the chairs are brittle & dusty the tables wobbly & sticky. The music was so loud & horrible quality of speakers so yhe loudness was mostly grainy music I couldnt hear the waitress well enough. Well with that in mind it did make me question how clean the kitchen or bar is.

It’s a shame to have to write this but we were there last night when the server at the time only had 4 tables, she came greeted us took our orders and disappeared for about 15 minutes. She comes back with our drinks which we saw were sitting at the bar ready way before she dropped them off so the drinks were watered down from the melted ice both times we ordered drinks. Then 25 minutes pass and we ask if our food is almost ready cause we’re starving, she acknowledges the question and reassures us it should be out soon. After 45 minutes of waiting she comes back around and asks if we want to put anything in before last call and we say no but we’re still waiting on our food. She proceeds to act clueless to the situation and admits she forgot to put in our order only after I asked her upfront if she forgot. She was not taking accountability for her mistakes and to make it even worse she never said sorry, was not apologetic at all, the most we got from her was a “my bad” type of response. And to continue with this horrible night, she never told a manager or any sort of person that can help the situation, so absolutely nothing was done about this situation. We ended up leaving hungry with an empty stomach and nothing was ever done to compensate for our waste of time and business. Even if it’s your first shift working in the industry, that should never slide and I think it’s wild they’d hire someone that has zero self awareness and sympathy for their customers or she was on something cause she seemed a little out of it. She’s tall slim light brunette, n should not be working there!

The food here is excellent. Love the oysters always fresh and cant go wrong with any of there ceviche or aguachilis. The live band was nice .only thing is if there is no band they blast the radio in there ,it can be a bit loud at times.

Live music is a plus normally but it was so loud and obnoxious we sat outside. Waiter was kind enough but do believe we were forgotten a tad being the only table outside. So to the food. FAJITAS you typically cannot go wrong and it's my go to when checking places out. They unfortunately had no flavor I actually think the seasoning was left out. They were served with nothing to put on them presentation was poor. Drinks were good about the only saving grace.

Can't comment on the mariscos but the bar is on point ☝️ Reminds me of being in Guadalajara, one of the best places to grab a lively brew in the esco.

The experience was alright. The music was too loud, couldn't really talk. If you plan on having a conversation with someone and going there I recommend you sit outside. The food wasn't what I was expecting. A little bland. Had to add salt, pepper and hot sauce. I was also asked if I wanted tortillas which I said yes. Those tortillas were never handed to me. We first got seated at a table that was wobbly and the chairs were a bit uncomfortable so we asked to switch to a different table which was more wobbly but atleast the seats were more comfortable. Stuffing a napkin under one of the legs did the trick though. Service wasn't too great either. I think our server went on her break while we were there cause we didn't get help for a while. When we were handed the check we waited another 30 minutes without anyone picking it up that we decided to just get up and pay at the front.
