Horrible food my california burrito has 0 flavor. You can't just throw things together without seasoning every ingredient plus they use potato wedges that and seem microwaved not fries. They have 0 business and can't make good food.

Found this little gem on the way to Fish & Game. The food was awesome! It took a little long, but that was also noticable because we were in a hurry. It was also a little pricey ($37 for three burritos), but that's par for the course these days.

The food was disgusting, the guy took the enchiladas out from the deep freezer and put them in the microwave took them out put them in a plate put cream, cheese, avocado. I got the plate and taste it, everything went directly to the trash it was nasty disgusting taste.

I had not eaten here in maybe ten years or more. Not sure if it is the same owner or not. In my mind I had been much better than this last trip. I cannot say that it was bad at all. It is a good little spot and the people are really nice and I like that the food is not salty like most places.I would go back for sure.My friend felt the same way, good but not special.

Probably one of my favorite home town taco shops in Escondido. El Huarache honestly has some of my favorite dishes to come around. While it's not a typical 5 star restaurant requiring dress policy or anything of that sorts, it definitely gets a 5 star with my rating due to its tasty foods, fast service, and the list of variety offered here. Ill say my favorite is their California Burrito, even to just think about it gets my mouth watering. And if you got a big appetite I highly suggest the Torta Cubana or their Carne Asada Fries. Its a small shop so you can find it fairly full at times but great things is that they offer take out too. So give em a call.

If you're in Escondido and looking for a tasty burrito joint, this is the spot! My family and I were craving a solid breakfast burrito and El Huarache was the first to pop up. My husband had the works with sausage, bacon, cheese, eggs and potatoes, while my daughter and I shared a potato, egg and cheese burrito. Not too much oil or salt, but the flavor of their burrito is was still amazing . One burrito is definitely big enough to share! We're for sure coming back to El Huarache!
