So good! Ordered the impossible burger, skinny fries. Boyfriend got a vegan banana shake and I got the regular strawberry shake. Everything was delicious!!! Super surprised and I was blown away because I was expecting it to be good but it was incredible. Yum! Highly recommend this place! 100000/10! Wish there were more locations in San Diego. Would do incredible in PB or Hillcrest in my opinion!

Refused to give me water , horrible service. One of there employees grabbed a water cup from my hand claiming the water was not working when it clearly was. Not going to go back here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone for the horrible experience and attitude they had, you guys ought to be ashamed of yourself. Nobody should physically take water from a customer's hand regardless of the situation with the soda machine. Extremely rude and not okay , managment even tried to justify the situation which says alot about how they treat there customers. If the water is contaminated like you claim then you can grab water from the back and serve your customers as any other restaurant would. I'm in disbelief

If this place didn't do 2 of these things it would get 5 stars. #1: Lack of locations. I get that Fatburger is supposed to be spread out but this is too far. They only have one location in all of San Diego county, and barely any in LA. #2: The Area The area this Fatburger is located in is not a good one. There is homeless people everywhere, you can hear people drifting their cars from inside the building, overall for the one location in San Diego county, it's not the best area. The one in Lake Tahoe is way better. #3: The food The food saves this place, these burgers are to die for! They are very delicious, I can tell it's not frozen. The fries are good too! The service is also good, the always make the food fast, but not too fast, to the point where you know it's frozen. Overall, Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 5/10

OK, here's my Fatburger story. Yesterday was my birthday. My wife's in the hospital and I'm dealing with everything. I didn't get a chance to eat and wanted a good solid burger, but did not want to move my butt. My first choice didn't deliver, so my kids said Fatburger would be good. I agreed. Wish I hadn't. On my first bite, I was greeted with paper! The paper wrapper from the cheese slices was left on. GROSS!!! That completely ruined my meal. I called them and the recording said they close at 8 and to call back tomorrow. This was at 7:58. Yes, just about 8, but when I ran a business, I closed things up AFTER closing hours, not before. So, I called back today. After explaining that I found paper inside the sandwich they prepared, the person I spoke with told me to contact the delivery company for a refund. What? I asked again. "I said there was paper in the sandwich you guys made. And I have to contact the delivery company?". And she confirmed that. I asked don't you care about the fact that your sandwich was made bad? I didn't wait for an answer. I hung up at that point. The level that customer service has sunk to keeps hitting new lows. And do people even care about their products any more?

Oh my gosh! First time here on 10/16/23. I told the manager my burger was excellent, the fat fries were the hottest served fries I've ever had, and the restroom was sparkling clean. Fries were so hot and freshly cooked that I had to break them in half to cook abit!I had planned to go to In & Out for lunch and so glad I stumbled upon my new hamburger destination. I live in Vista but will definitely come to Escondido just for a Fat burger and Fat fries! I'm just finding out they have sweet potato fries. I'm going back today! Thank youParking: I ride a bicycle and was able to park and secure it right next to the window by the table I sat at to watch it. I loved that. Great location with very little parking confusion.
Fat burger is a pretty decent hamburger chain. There are definitely better hamburger spots in San Diego, like Rocky’s, Duke’s fashion onion burger, the friendly Tavern, the Balboa, etc… but still, if you’re in the neighborhood and craving a burger, this will hit the spot.

I think it's absurd there charging 50 cents for any type of condiments! There costumer service is also extremely bad they gave me looks when I walked in because my little brother is autistic! It's extremely rude I also got half cold fry's! It's absolutely ridiculous I wanted to come get "good food" with my family and get horrible service I will never come here again!

My family and I were visiting Carlsbad. We were craving Fatburger. The closest one was in Escondido. We made the drive and it was worth the trip. The restaurant was very clean. The two ladies that were on shift were on point. Polite, professional, and prompt. Orders were taken correctly and the burgers and fries were delicious. This is one of the best Fatburger restaurants we ever been to.
