What I've tried from the menu was delicious! Service is great. Nice spot for a good meal at a decent price in downtown Escondido.

Parmasan Chicken Sandwich & Beiniets were so good! One of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Coming back for Monte Christo.

H Brothers is your basic gentrified American restaurant serving burgers and sandwiches for nearly $20 a plate. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Melt with onion rings and I found it mediocre at best, disappointing and overpriced at its worst. The flavor of the sandwich was decent but the bread was not toasted all the way so it was a bit soggy. The chicken was also small enough where it didn't cover the bread. I ordered the onion rings because others here recommended it but they were completely flavorless! The ambience is quite nice. As for the service, you order & buy your food first then they bring your food at the table so they don't really have any incentive to provide you service. l have no idea why this place has such high reviews, I'm inclined to think it's because this area is a food desert so there aren't many good options to pick from in the first place!

Excellent! Saw it on maps and just decided to stop for lunch with the family. None of us had ever been there. First off large menu with a variety of dishes. Hospitality and service were amazing! Ordered the house made Mac n cheese with bacon, and split the Bacon -Avocado Burger and both were very good, everyone enjoyed the Mac n cheese that I reluctantly shared with them. Also, the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. Everyone loved their food, Cheese steaks, meatloaf sandwiches and Seafood melt were all very good. Good beer and drink selection as well. The staff then gave us an order of beignets which just made the experience better. I highly recommend!

This place was recommended by some locals so I finally had a chance to try out their food. I ordered the following ... *Fried Shrimp PoBoy Hand battered and fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, house-made classic or spicy Remoulade sauce on a toasted roll. *Seafood Melt Seared shrimp and scallops, provolone, classic or spicy cabbage slaw on toasted sourdough. *Tuna Melt Parmesan crusted sourdough, tuna salad, Swiss cheese And ordered sides too... *onion rings and hush puppies The food was delicious and flavorful. Good size portions perfect for sharing. Shaylee was at the register and she was very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!!!

Stopped in for lunch and what a cool place. The staff were all so friendly. Menu is huge and I mean that partly because it is written on the side of the wall when you walk in. We ordered child chicken nuggets, tzatziki wrap and a buffalo wrap.. oh and some onion rings. The wraps were huge and very tasty. Onion rings were the best I've ever had!! Grandson loved the chicken nuggets. Have to comment again about the staff.. The two ladies working were beyond nice and helpful! Would we go back? Yes of course, I want to try the Monte Cristo!!

a great menu with fantastic food! well priced and generous portions, the space is a little meh and needs a refresher to match, the quality of the food! still definitely worth the visit!

We had a disappointing lunch here. If you're ordering drinks, stick to the local beers on tap. The 2 cocktails we had were less than mediocre. My brisket salad was overpriced at $17 and very ho hum. Meat was moist but clearly roasted, not smoked. Lettuce, onion and corn were the only other ingredients. Seafood sandwich was fine. Onion rings tasted like they had been cooked in old, fishy oil. All in all, I think there are better options on the same street.

Their menu has a lot of selections to choose from. Food & beverages. Super nice and clean restaurant in downtown Escondido. Kind and friendly service. You order at the bar and the food is delivered to your table. Portion and flavor approved!Poutine fries - An appetizer, but can be eaten as a main dish. Fries tasted freshly cut and fried to me, white gravy drizzled all over (I added salt), cheese curds, and big chunks of chicken.Cheesesteak - I had the bbq sauce on the side. Warm bread, perfect ratio of meat, drizzled with cheese, and onion strips. I ordered hush puppies for my side with sweet butter. The portion size was pretty big.Taziki Chicken Wrap - Big wrap! Great fresh option. This one doesn't include a side, but that's okay... the poutine fries was enough.
