AWESOME LUMPIA!! I want to come back with my wife for a full meal. We got the lumpia for a work party and they flew outta the pan, 100 was not enough!

This place needs major cleaning. The chairs in the corner been there for years, the condiments are felty to include the blinds.

We love the Lumpia here! We usually try to stop by whenever we pass through, but they're usually closed when we do. The staff could be a little more welcoming. Inside is small, and the location is not the best. Sadly, there are a lot of homeless people, some that dont bother anyone but some that go around yelling.

I met up with my cousin for lunch. She's full Filipina and notes it is better than other places she has gone. She was right! I had the two entree plate with half steamed rice, and half Singapore style (thin rice noodle) noodles--I chose Tilapia (full fish) upcharge only a dollar--and the soup with chicken and upo plus egg. This food brought me back to my grandma's kitchen--eating with my hands, removing the tinick and talking with my cousin. Oh, I couldn't resist getting a small cup of the dessert soup, ginataang. Those starch balls are amazing. Not as much jack fruit as my Inang but sweet potato and coconut--Mmm.

I frequently travel, so trying Filipino food restaurants is what I usually aim for, but this place was horrible. Grumpy mean old ladies running the place. I even spoke tagalog to them to be nice and was still rude. No napkins, anywhere. Didn't understand what I wanted, and was very unwelcoming. The food was okay, didn't even taste very good, more like food that was prepped and served in the morning, I came a little after lunch rush. When I was done I asked for a plastic bag and the Mean old lady just very rudely tossed on the counter instead of handing it to me. Well I would personally avoid this place!! WAG KAYO PUMUNTA!! BAD SERVICE ?

Some of the best pork sisig comes from here. Also, my wife lives the turn even though she's diabetic.

Food is superb! So far the closest to Pinoy food I was used to in Manila.

Great food choices, really flexible with catering. It is hard to locate, and parking isn't the best; but their food tastes good and they're the only Filipino place in Escondido and I like that I don't have to drive all the way south just to satisfy my Filipino food cravings, especially if I don't want to cook.

I think this may be the only Filipino place in Esco. I'm so glad I found them. I ordered a tray of palabok half order SAME DAY! They were able to fulfill my order when other viet restaurants would not. When I arrived I was amazed at the sisig, diniguan and Filipino spaghetti they had out. They have so much to offer and I can't wait to try more. The sisig was one of the bests I've had.

My favorite restaurant in San Diego

This place is kind of hidden, something that always excites and makes me scared lol. Got a mixed bag this time. The pancit / noodles have definitely seen better days, soggy and nothing to be compared to homemade pancit. However, still tasted ok. The chicken here was incredible. It was drenched in it's own juices and I'd be lying if I hadn't tasted chicken that juicy anywhere in Escondido, at least for the longest time. I don't like ordering chicken when eating out but this was delish! This place has my continued interest, hopefully with more of the really good stuff! I want this place to earn those 4 stars all the way!
