I walked by here a couple times and didn't know what it was at first (thought it was a place to just buy Matcha tea at first). Upon realizing it's a cafe with a variety of Matcha and Ube desert-type food and drinks , I decided to check it out. It's a unique place and especially for the area, have to give a couple stars for that. Parking is always difficult in the center it's in, trying not to let that effect me coming here but honestly it does. Upon looking at the menu I saw plenty of unique and tasty looking options, but the prices on some things are simply outrageous to me. For example they have nitro coffee and nothing seems particularly special about it but it's somehow $10? I'm used to $5 - $7 at places fancier than here and with organic beans. I ended up getting the Melon Pan Bread with Soft Serve Ice Cream and it was good except the bread was a bit dry and not flakey, and a little overpriced. It kind of took a while to make as well. Would I return here? I'm not so sure but it was worth checking out.

Upbeat, chic and posh decor and ambience. Nice artwork on the walls and the greenery gives the space a clean look and feel. There is a great selection of matcha drinks at reasonable prices that can accommodate a variety of tastes. I ordered from the "fruit series" the Mango Jasmine Tea with Mango Jelly - Iced at $6.75 only which I enjoyed but is an acquired taste. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Love this spot service is so friendly and fast. I love the soft serve the ube is so tasty. We also ordered a bubble waffle as it smelled so good. You order on the screen. There are 4-5 small tables mostly for 4 people thanks!

Ube + Matcha Soft Serve Ice Cream is so delicious! The place has a huge menu and so many great options. The vibe in the restaurant is super calming and the atmosphere is so cute! Can't wait to go back! The service is friendly and will give samples if you want to try them!

This place is a gem!!!!!! If you have been in the area, you know it's a little sketchy, but it's worth it! We had the ube ice cream in a waffle cone and the matcha Dalgona latte. Everything was fresh and delicious. The girl behind the counter took her time explaining us what everything was and making sure we enjoyed what we ordered. Totally recommended!!!!

What a find. We ordered the Ube soft serve. They split one order into two cups. It was more than enough for us. I can't wait to try their Matcha delights. Friendly workers. The place is spotless.

We came specially for the Uji-Kintoki but it was quite bad. It really looked and tasted like it had been prepared hours ago and sat in a fridge. The ice was melted into a hard rock, the toppings were stale and dried out, all the sauce had run onto the bottom of the cup. If it was just a taste thing I wouldn't mind, but it was really low quality for a $10 shaved ice. Had to stab at it to get a few bites but the rest went into the trash. Disappointing. Staff was nice. Would only come back to try the drinks or soft-serve. If you want bing soo take the drive to Kearny Mesa.

I love matcha!!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while but had no time. Everything we ordered was good! Friendly customer service. The inside is pretty small and it can get really crowded. Can't wait to come back and try the hojicha ice cream!!!

Can't go wrong with Matcha! We came here on a super rainy day, it was our dessert after having ramen next door. Such a random location (imo), but love that there's a Matcha Maiko near us! We had the Ube Matcha Swirl, so delicious!

Came here for a quick sweet treat and was not disappointed. The soft serve is delicious, the matcha kinda over powers the ube but it was still great. The strawberry cheese matcha latte was AMAZING. Service was quick and the store has a very cute vibe.

What you see here is a strawberry matcha completely obliterated in under 15 minutes. Trust the guy across the street that refers you here. You wont regret it!!!

Got the #2 and #8 or #10 - can't remember the number. First off, the shop smells weird when you go in? But the drinks weren't that good. The #2 has a topping actually, like a coconut jelly, which I didn't realize. We got both at 25% sweet, which was sweet enough, but the brown sugar milk tea was watery. The #2 is much better if you stir in all the foam and mix it completely up, but I probably wouldn't return. They do have ice cream and desserts though, so maybe those are better picks.
