We ordered to go, and they give us whatever they want, we check the ticket and it was correct everything we told to put in the ramen, but it wasn’t like that when we see the plates, we also pay extra and didn’t receive the food correctly, I’ll not give 2nd opportunity?03/09/24

The food was great but the staff was not up to par. The staff needs training in customer service, they are not friendly at all. Our server never checked on us, we had to flag her down several times. I frequent the Vista location and they have much better service. Not sure I’ll return to this location.
Best sushi in Escondido...hands down! Be sure to ask for "real Wasabi". Wowzer good stuff.

Probably the worst service I've had in a long time. The hostess sat us down, and then nobody ever came to us. About 10 min later I had to wave someone down and ask if they were ever going to take our order. They never brought utensils even after our food came. To top it off, they never put my son's food in. No apologies, no compensations, just a "yeah it's on its way". Our original server was too coward to ever comeback and admit she never put his food in. Not to mention, this was on a Monday at 3pm, there was literally only 2 other tables besides ours. Seems as if this place is ran by a bunch of teenagers that have never worked a day in their life. Do yourself a favor, DONT EVER EAT at this location. I've had a few bad service experiences here in the past, but the sushi and beer is always good, so I've looked past it. This time I couldn't hold back, because they just don't care. The Vista location is always on point but for some reason, this damn restaurant has no idea what they're doing.

Quite sad.We drove from far to try out this dicho place. Literally planed kids sleeping time around this schedule as we needed to have them go out in order for us to go out on a quick mini-date. Arrive to the location and 9:29 and on the window it states last call is 9:45P and closing is 10:00P. We were ready to go with what our order was and as we walk in a server rolls his eyes, walks to what seems the manager and the manager whispers something.The server then comes over and stated they closed 3 min ago. At 9:25? Why does it state everywhere 10:00P is closing? My husband shows him the time and the manager just shrugs his arms and that's the end of it. Ruined our date night!Super disappointed & sad.

Visitingc area and decided to try Mikko Sushi. WOW! Food was delicious. Edamame was fresh and plentiful. Chicken teriyaki bento was delicious. California rolls melt in your mouth. Tempura batter is delicious and not oily or soggy. Sushi combo was delicious. Big pieces of fish and not a ton of rice. Everything was delicious. Restaurant and restrooms very clean. Totally recommend this spot to anyone in area or visiting downtown.
