So delicious!! I ordered a gyro (beef & lamb) it was so yummy. The pita bread was so fresh. Good amount of protein. Fresh crunchy romaine lettuce, fresh tomatoes, fresh feta cheese phenomenal. Side sauce so good. Can’t say enough about it. Everything was so fresh. Cant wait to go back. People are gracious & quick! A MUST TRY!! I go there a lot. YUMMY!!

Good Service. However, the Ganoush was made with peanut oil and not olive oil...ugh! Don't get it!!

I used to love this place, been a customer for 8+ years. However, the last four times I have ordered from here (Uber eats & in person) I have received little to no protein at all. They used to give me reasonable portions in the past, but paying $20 + for this amount of food is not acceptable. What happened?

This is a authentic Italian restaurant with awesome food. I highly recommend trying.

Food was not good and same with service. Pita bread was cold and not toasted. Not really any taste to the food and even the salad had these type of greens I've never seen before. Was missing soda even though I asked for it and the person working there said it was in my bag. When I got home, opened the bag and it was not in the bag. Pretty disappointing as I've eaten here before and it wasn't like this before.

Have been ordering the gyro on a weekly basis for months and most recently the taste and quality has changed significantly. Easy to recognize since it's been my absolute favorite of all greek restaurants. The gyro meat arrives DRY and doesn't taste quite the same as it did months ago. Possible that it's the fact that it's so dry? Either way, -caution if you plan to order anything gyro... might be over-cooked/dry. Would LOVE for this to improve otherwise will check recommendations for other places serving up some **fresh and not dry/over-cooked gyro. Still wanting to give this place the benefit of doubt, I'll be sure to add a photo with my next order if there is no change.

Story here: I had just been challenged to a Keto diet for 5 days to see if I could do it . . . you know, without carbs. This day (day 3 of my new diet) I just so happened to crave a salad with a piece of salmon. We happened to be in the parking area around the lunch hour so I was looking for places that might have salmon, and if not, something I could eat to keep on my diet. I thought about this place as I could probably get a protein kabob on top of a salad of some sort. As we walked up, BAM! Today's special just happened to be the Salmon Salad. I'll take it. Now I'm not too sure about the marinade or sauce that was made to go along with the salmon, but it wasn't my cup of tea. In my opinion, it was too heavy and laden with some sort an oil or grease. The salad came with a pita and tzatziki sauce that I didn't eat. It also came with a Mediterranean or Greek dressing that I used sparingly to not overkill the salad and salmon. The salmon was in itself good, but not the marinade/sauce. The salad itself was rather simple, but together, this meal hit the craving spot. Portions are huge for take-out. The to-go cartons were full and heavy. Unfortunately, the food was just adequate and ok. We had eaten here before and had a similar experience. Give 'em a try. Maybe I am just a simple salmon guy. So this is my first and last time eating here. I ordered both the Gyro and Falafel sandwiches. Absolutely disgusting. Food was cold and dry and they threw blue cheese crumbles in both sandwiches? Such a strange combo that does not work. Coming from a middle eastern background this does not even come close to hitting the mark!

Food is fresh and delicious. Prepared quickly. Good quality for the cost.

Leaving this review here so I don’t forget and order from this place again. The “flavored” saffron rice is just white rice with no flavor for miles. The chicken is awful and salad is most likely taken from the trash bin right next to the restaurant. That’s the worst $20+ I’ve ever spent.

Most disappointing restaurant in San Diego. Way overpriced and the food was disgusting. $9 for a stella beer, really? The restaurant is old and hot. Please save your time and money and never come here.

Very disappointing for the price, bad value at mid day. Stuffed grape leaves dolmas were terrible with burnt Spanish style rice. Soggy, small, gyro sandwiches. The location is great, but go elsewhere. It has gone downhill from its early days. Manager probably not interested in feedback; no courage to complain in person, he looks not interested. Time to move on, Escondido, we need better restaurants. Buyer beware.

Way over priced. $9 for a pint of soup, $16 for a normal sized Gyro? There are other nearby good Mediterranean restaurants at a more reasonable price.

Bruh, it's Father's Day and I'm stupid. I haven't gone to the bank as a small business owner and forgot to grab my other bag with ample money to cover dinner and he refused to split the transaction between cash and card(which as stated haven't gone to the bank to fund my paycheck)for my family so I couldn't even eat at this overpriced hole in the wall seriously 2 plates and a side with drinks soda for f*** sale for 3...almost $70 before tipping. Also why was the floor sticky.

Way over priced, especially for a take-out oriented restaurant. $9 for a pint of soup, $16 for a gyro? There are other nearby Mediterranean restaurants with good food at a better price. The staff were friendly.
