This coffee house has a roaster who KNOWS the beans! Do yourself a favor - ask for the siphon brew!

Hesitant to go in due to a lot of iffy reviews, I ended here anyways. A unique coffee shop experience indeed. Safari themed! Never seen that before. The owner was the only worker. He was polite and friendly. I ordered a hot coco mocha (might be wrong) and it was really good. 3 dollars for a small. I recommend giving him a shot and checking out the shop.

This guy knows his coffee. The roasted beans here ruined the stuff I used to get at the grocery store.

Owner is rude and dismissive, acted like I was an inconvenience for ordering coffee because he wanted to keep socializing with his friends. I ordered a late and I watched him pour coffee into the cup, not espresso. The coffee tasted like burned dirt and was very expensive. Would never come back for drinks, maybe the beans are a different story.

I highly recommend it here if you're looking for quality coffee. The owner is very passionate about his craft, and the drinks are great. This is also the only place I'll go to buy beans for my home.

If your looking for quality espresso this is my favorite spot in San Diego, always stop when in for a double shot or 2 while in town and grab a bag of dancing bear beans for home ! Excellent, perfection, a must try !!

Safari is the only place we'll buy our beans. The flavor and quality is superior to anything you can get at the store. They give great recommendations on what new beans to try. I also love grabbing the cold brew concentrate in the summer!

Great niche coffee spot tucked away in a vons shopping center. Atmosphere and aesthetics revealed a person who loves coffee and the intricacies of roasting. I would recommend this place to any bean head who's looking to have a bit of a Safari.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Escondido. What's even more impressive is the fresh roasted beans that you can get delivered which gives you the best possible coffee experience for your daily cop at home. The owner Mark isn't always chatty, but loves to share his knowledge about coffee with anyone and everyone.

NOT REAL ESPRESSO. ALSO NOT BROKE COLLEGE STUDENT FRIENDLY. i decide to look for a coffee shop in my area because although im a barista it was my day off and i wanted a good latte near my house. i came here because of the “good” reviews as well as that it was a small business and im all for supporting. i came in the place is cute filled with stuff the guy at the counter was nice don’t get me wrong but i asked for an iced toffee nut with almond milk thinking i was going to get an iced latte with espresso especially since i DIDNT order the frozen one which usually has a fake coffee substitute. i watched this guy POUR GOLDEN PEAK COLD BREW into a cup with a splash of milk and a huge amount of syrup. close the lid swirled it around once then charged me $6.75…. how can you charge that much for a “latte” when 1. not even real espresso! 2. it’s store bought premade cold brew so why are you even charging that much when you don’t have to prepare it your self? i tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and atleast try my coffee. big mistake. straight syrup sugar. immediately went into the trash. i hate to be wasteful but wow..

Great craft coffee shop. They roast their own beans and have a lot of options for coffee snobs like me. I had a lot of questions about picking a few options to brew at home and the owner was very helpful in explaining the differences in taste. Even gave me a few pointers about brewing at home.

Closed in the middle of the day on a Thursday - at least take down the “we are open” sign…

The coffee here is on another level. The man that has helped me now a few times is very kind. Today was a holiday and I was feeling very sad and tired. Working retail and having a second business can do that to you, but my Americano he served gave me a lift and helped me keep going with my day. I definitely recommend you go visit and buy some Kona coffee beans freshly roasted here. Even open Thanksgiving until noon. Grateful and wish this business all the best. Thankful for coffee today.
