Place used to be good like half a decade ago, now its just not it. Chicken and noodles is what I order but nowadays I just get a spoonful of Chicken in my plate and rest is just pure noodles.

I absolutely LOVE the food here but... the service is less than sub par. Almost every time, my order gets messed up. I'm not sure why, but they can never get it right, though it's quite simple. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious but I always have to tell them to remake it because of the mess ups. And when you ask them to fix their mistake with your order they always make it a big deal to do so, and I always feel like it is my fault that my order is being messed up, which makes me feel even worse about the situation, since I don't want to be a bother. Overall I would recommend but it might be a stressful or bothersome experience for some.

Today I went to sarku and paid for two orders of the same thing. Teriyaki chicken with noodles and as you can see on this receipt, unpaid extra for noodles but as you can see on my picture, I don't get noodles on one of my order.Not only the service was a long wait, the portion was small, my order was missing the noodles, and their cash register was down for awhile that made us wait for a while.

I have probably had more Sarku than most people. I am a person of routine, and when I find something I like, I stick with it. With my line of work, I am often in various malls throughout Southern California. Sarku has been one of my go-to food places, and I don't mean just this location. I've been to them all over the county, including the ones in Horton Plaza and Mission Valley way back when they were open. I like their food, but that's just my opinion. Their customer service on the other hand, has taken a HUGE spike downwards. I don't know if it's just frustration because of current events, maybe some other personal issues, or maybe just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but either way, it is unacceptable. It is not just a "new employee" issue. It is not just a "this location" issue. I see the same people at the other locations as well, so they are connected. The particular employee that was rude has been with Sarku for MANY years and at multiple locations. I hope no one else experiences the disrespect and lack of customer service I did.
Yesterday was our first time in this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had great time with the excellent service, with the excellent cuisine and booze and with the comfortable charge. We will absolutely visit there in a short time.

Mediocre food, lucky if they have their rice ready when they open. But the food is relatively decent. The people working there are a different story, the woman who works the register is nice but the guy with the beard who makes the sushi has a horrible attitude and is rude. Can't understand being treated like you're a nuisance for wanting to give them business

I visit this restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place many times. The meals are just great, the team is welcoming and the payment is reasonable. I like being in this restaurant over a nice supper.

I had Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box tonight: -garden salad: so so. -dumplings (3 pieces): OK. -California rolls (4 pieces): good -Teriyaki shrimps: tiny shrimps, but fresh, tasted good. Price: over 10 bucks for this decent dish which I think it is reasonable. Cashier/cooker: quick.
