Had 2 of their French toast and my bill was $41!!!!! They added 20% to the bill without prior notice due to "inflation". Waitress started arguing with me and said I should've known because every restaurant is adding the extra 20%.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We had a burger, 2 pancakes and 3 sausage links and paid $50....

Food and coffee was excellent!!!!! I've been living in Escondido for about 3 years now and I'm always passing this dinner. Well today my family and I finally stopped by and I'll so glad we did. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly and approachable. Usually a restaurant has good coffee and bad food or good food and bad coffee. BUT not this place, the food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. It does get busy but it worth wait. I'll definitely be coming back with my family again.

Great little find in Escondido. I know it's been here for awhile but I haven't heard much about it and finally saw a post somewhere else on fb so we thought we'd try it. The diner is a totally cool throwback in both furnishings and decor. Our awesome waitress Rosy was so cute she looked like she stepped right our of a postcard from the 60's and she was more than attentive. She wrote hardly anything down but didn't forget a single thing. The food was awesome and the homemade cinnamon rolls are ginormous and delicious. Definitely go if you're looking for good breakfast grub. We will be back!

I had such a great experience at Suzy Q's! Service was great, staff was very helpful and appreciative. I ordered french toast made of croissants which was delicious. I got a lot of food for the price. Recommend!

Showed up in the morning after a night out of drinking. The place was starting to fill up but only had 1 waiter called Susie. She was the best and recommended her speciality dishes. I tried the Ricky Ricardo and had a stacked plate. My friends and I enjoyed the conversation about the 50-70's theme and the music playing. Solid 9/10 restaurant.

Cute Diner in Old Town Escondido. We love diners and this one did not disappoint. Get the cinnamon roll right out of the oven, it will not disappoint. I had the Western Burger and hot fries.

First time for me to leave a review but this place is amazing, from the eggs and toast to the country fried steak. This is a must have stop if you are ever in the Escondido area, or even passing by. I'm currently an Esco local so I make sure to eat here as much as I can. I highly recommend the Country Fried Steak, and if you love a good gravy; they have the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had, from coast to coast never had a better dish!

All American food choices served with a very professional and pleasant attitude. Meaning, customers do come first and appreciated .

We actually found this place when we went looking for Mexican food, lol. Ate Mexican next door and returned next morning for breakfast here. Great service, great food. Absolutely, must have a fresh from the oven cinnamon roll!

My husband and I randomly stopped in today for brunch, first time here. Food was AMAZING, my husband said the French toast was the best he's ever had. Wait staff was sweet. Looking forward to coming back!

The food is good and plentiful. The young lady who waited on me was very nice. The older lady in there is a sourpuss. Wow the cranky look on her face the whole time I was in there. Uncomfortable. Not kind to her staff at all!! Will try it again but only because the food is good.

Sweetest little mom and pop place. They have great service and delicious food. Their French Toast is freaking amazing and I don't even like French Toast (hubby loves FT and can't get enough of the FT here)
