The food was not very good , too salty , very small portions for the price and not enough meat. The food took a while to get which was surprising since we were 2 of the only 4 people there. The service was good otherwise. But for the price it sure was disappointing. This is second to last place for tacos in escondido. Do not recommend.

UPDATE 4/202So this is unfortunate. we stopped by today to get the usual and it’s been a while since we’ve been here, but the meat was not the same. It was completely dry and no flavor.Then the consume we paid for was definitely not used for Birria meat.We were told it was because they ran out of the sauce in the morning, but why wouldn’t you tell us that upfront instead of taking our money?On top of that when we got the food, we did not get all the food at once so the consume came after we got the tacos and then we paid for three extra handmade tortillas, though we just left after trying the foodFlavor today and I’m almost guaranteed the meat was completely different than in the past.It was after why it wasn’t the same flavor, why the meat was different, and then I was looking for the excuses why we didn’t get all the food at the same time and why it was brought out a little by little and at that point we just left.This is the problem with tipping before you get your food and service. Absolutely will not be back.-Yoooooo, so my wife is form Guadalajara. I go to Vegas for real estate conventions a lot (they have some great Mexican Restaurants there) but THIS….. boyiaaaa this is absolutely amazing! Great food. Great customer service. Must try!

New local favorite, had the aguachiles, the surf and turf tacos as well as the pollo asada tacos and everything was great. They have a nice vibe with good music and an outside patio. Plus a few good beers on tap. Definitely check this place out, especially on taco Tuesday!

Paid almost $30 for tacos that were supposed to be the same size as street tacos but were actually MINI TACOS. The underage staff didn't even take my order right. I asked for 7 tacos think I was paying $29.87 but but ended up paying that for only 5 small as hell tacos. It wasn't even enough for my 5 year old kid. Wouldn't recommend it unless your willing to pay for overpriced mini tacos

Disappointed. That is all I can say.We ordered Birria, Adobada, shrimp and carne asada tacos, and it was, ehh. We also ordered a side of consommé and it was watered down and bland.The main thing that wasn't great is the tortillas. They don't taste fresh, they are rubbery and tough like they were reheated.The flavor of the adobada was good and same for the carne asada, although more grizzle than meat.I came across this place after seeing an Instagram ad from them. All I can say is they can do better and be careful of social media hype from ads.

We had shrimp tacos, steak burrito and cheese quesadillas.My husband inhaled his burrito and the green salsa he got with it, it was that good.And I, well.., I know I maybe shouldn’t make that public but I licked the paper the taco came on ? our toddler ate the entire quesadilla plus my cucumbers. great service, chill atmosphere, good music & fantastic food ???No pictures cause we ate too fast ?

We have been wanting to try TerraMar for a while and we love it. Our family loves supporting local, family businesses. The food is great and the service is even better. David is so sweet and remembered us when we returned for our second visit. The pulpo tacos are amazing, a must try! We also tried the shrimp ceviche, shrimp tacos, birria tacos and surf + turf. Everything was great. This is our new favorite spot. The only challenge is with parking, but it's so worth it!

Food is great! We love how they specialize in seafood Mexican. We have been coming here and we always get their pulpo tacos, Birria tacos and shrimp tacos. It's a mom and pop shop and they are always welcoming when we swing by. We love supporting local!

First time here and it was beautiful. I came to visit for the first time with my husband 03/02/24 around 6-7pm and let me tell you.. the food is worth it! Worth the price and the experience. I would rate 10 stars if I could. Service was great, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Food was delicious. And it was a rainy day and the staff came to check up on us and was very courteous. Their fish tacos and tortas were our go to! Soooo good! Definitely will come back and recommend to all my friends and family! Thank you Terramar Restaurant & Staff!

today was my first time here and I am so glad I visited!! I ordered a shrimp taco, a fish taco, jamaica to drink and a lovely little dessert of dulce de leche rice pudding. All of it was so well done and full of flavor. Each component of the tacos was done with care. Tortilla: soft & homemade-tasting. Meat: perfectly cooked so that you can taste it and know exactly what it is. Salsa: perfect accompaniment b/c it was spicy, fresh and did not overwhelm the meat. The jamaica was so homemade-tasting that it makes me not like any other jamaicas that I've ever had (others are too sweet!). Rice pudding is so, so yummy and, again, so well-done. I'm coming back often to eat through the whole menu!!
