Unfortunately this location is now closed. Luckily there are other Broken Yolk Cafes around California. This is such a great place to take your friends out for breakfast or brunch! Today we ordered: -Chilaquiles bowl with shredded chicken -Classic Eggs Benedict -Chicken and Waffle Benedict -Classic Avocado Toast -Blueberries Pancake -Side of Fresh Fruit -Mimosas I really loved their chilaquiles bowl. There are a lot of places that I've tried chilaquiles at that don't quite hit the spot for me. But this place was great! Their tortilla chips were still crunchy and not soggy or soft, which I love! Their sauce had a great taste to it, not spicy at all for those who might be afraid to try them. They do close early though, so make sure you get up early if you want to pay them a visit.

My experience was less than positive. I sat at the counter and patently wanted for someone to acknowledge me so I could order some coffee and egg benedict . After employees filed to say athing to for over 12 minutes I walked back to the hostess to see if maybe I should sit at a table so I can get service. She appologized and me some coffee and someone to take my order.

We went to this location a few weeks ago on Sunday morning for breakfast. There was a confusion with putting us on the wait list, So it took a while to get seated. In the end the service and food was amazing! Tarissa F. The manager was very helpful and great at making sure we were taking care of.

We visit this restaraunt often because we know what to expect. The staff is super friendly and the meals are consistently good. Keep up the good work! Tip: If you like spicy Pico de gallo, they make it fresh inhouse. Tell your server you want a "Boat of Pico on the side". Its good enough to take home and enjoy later with chips as well!

What a great breakfast spot with gluten free pancakes!! What?!! OMG my wife is happy!! Super friendly people!! Will come back and bonus ... ate too much but there's a gym attached to the joint so no worries!!

The food and service was excellent. I tried the lemon pancakes they were delicious Alli was super attentive to our needs and gave us great advice on where to go for water activities. Also, she surprised me with a birthday muffin......thanks. I will be back

This is usually my dad's and I go-to place in escondido. Its in a convenient area, close by his community we can be there in no time for breakfast. By a park, we can get shopping done, some steps in, but for safety precautions hes been holding off on big crowds. I was here this time with my mother in law, wife and kids this weekend and she loved it too and i remembered a review is long overdue. service is phenomenal. Food delicious. Once covid boils over you'll see us way more often again, like i said this is my dad's favorite place.

Let me just by saying that I hardly eat out anymore due to the circumstances of the pandemic and service being so different everywhere. I was served by Allie today and she was phenomenal. The entire staff that also brought our food to us were so courteous and attentive. Something I haven't experienced in a really long time. I did let Allie know but I definitely wanted to give the staff the shout out they deserve. Keep up the good work whatever is the success of your team continue supporting that. You can really tell there is a good genuine work environment happening behind the scenes and it means a lot. Not sure when I will be back since I was visiting in town with friends. But I absolutely felt very welcomed there.

I got the strawberry banana crepes and my boyfriend got the ranchero skillet. Both delicious!But the star of the show was Enrique, for sure! He was so nice and very attentive. Our coffee was always filled!! Thank you Enrique!

I had breakfast there this morning with my daughter's and from being seated, to getting our food, staff were very attentive and friendly. My daughter mentioned it was my birthday and at the end they brought me a litter cake with happy birthday on the plate. The food was great. Great staff. I love this place.

We came here early for a friends group breakfast on Sunday morning. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and provided attentive service. Their WiFi computerized ordering system the staff uses speeds up service. It was a nice touch. My coffee and water was refilled each time it went down which was nice. The restaurant is spacious, warm and full of a clean airy atmosphere. I had the Golden State Benedict with ham and it was prepared perfectly. The sauces on top with eggs and ham gave a good balance of flavors from hearty texture to spicy taste and hint of salt . It was very enjoyable. Potatoes cooked to perfection. All my friends loved the food, menu options and welcoming service. The waiter teams worked very well together and helped each other out. It made things very efficient and seamless. The place was popular for a Sunday breakfast spot In Escondido. The staff was fantastic and we loved it here. Great job. Great place to grab a bite!

I love coming here for breakfast after my workout. Enrique is the nicest, most efficient worker they have. He is always super friendly and happy to serve. Come here for a mimosa and the American breakfast.
