We recently purchased our Easter meal for 12 people, and it was wonderful. Nothing but compliments. The Escondido staff was extremely helpful and even suggested we should get the 8 lb. ham, but my husband thought we needed the 10. Boy was she correct! We now have enough leftover ham to make your bean soup. Can't wait to try it. Dorothy Siegel San DiegoParking: Driveway is adjacent (really close) to the building. Drive slowly so you don't miss it. We had no trouble finding a place. It might be crowded if you go the day before a holiday.

We were in and out very quickly! Was nervous about the long lines in the past as I am using a rollator to walk and this time it was very easy and no line! The girls were helpful and pleasant.

Terrible! Ordered BBQ ribs then to come home and realized all the ribs were ALL fat. Could not eat and threw away. Called yesterday to speak to a manager and Betsy who answered the phone seemed so awful with phone attitude. As if I was a bother to her. She apparently took a message to have the manager Sarah call me back and I have yet to hear anything. Tried calling today and it rang and rang. Terrible place, will not be back.STILL NO CONTACT FROM THE MANAGER. SEE ATTACHED NASTY RIBS WITH ALL FAT!!! WENT TO BITE AND ALL FAT JUST CAME OFF ON ALL!!!

I tried to call numerous times and no one answers during open hours. Must have rang 10 times. I thought they would have a recording, they do but says stay on the line and a person would help you. Not my idea of good customer service.

If your trash area looks this way you have rats guaranteed

The ham we got was delicious! Unfortunately we loved the champagne mustard that honeybaked used to have for years and years! They no longer sell it but sell a horrible concoction of champagne dill mustard that everyone at our birthday dinner hated and we ended up throwing it out. Very disappointed!

Came here because I was in the area. Place an order online the night before. Walked in two days before Thanksgiving. Although it was busy, the customer service was very efficient and fast. With a few people in front of me, the line took maybe two minutes. They walked in the back, grab my order and sent me on my way. Very friendly and kind. The price of the ham is a bit steep but it is so good. I know the price is not based on the location. It's just a going rate of everything in this economy. Although it's about 45 minutes from my house, I will definitely be back.

Aida and the early morning crew at Escondido were so kind, helpful, and went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service with great suggestions and advice on products that were available. Aida thank you for everything you did and for a great conversation. God bless to all of y'all.

Forget the Ham go for the Ribs, Tri Tip and Brisket. Each of them have been precooked and seasoned. Just warm them in the oven and enjoy !

Great experience picking up a Honey Baked Ham on Thursday morning for Easter Dinner. Everyone was kind and they were well organized in preparation for the crowd that was sure to arrive that day. To all the women working that day: Keep your head up, your doing a great job!

We picked up 3 sandwiches to go yesterday 2 ham one turkey. One was good The other was okay, but I broke a tooth on probably a slice of bacon or something hard in it. They also didn't put any dressing on it even though I asked for buttermilk ranch but that's okay. My sister had been looking forward to going to Honeybaked all day to get her turkey sandwich (she had enjoyed sandwiches from other honeybaked stores before). When we opened them up at home she thought we had 3 ham sandwiches but it was just some dry, discolored, rubbery turkey that looked like it should have been tossed out days ago. I wouldn't even give it to my cat it was so scary looking. It was so stomach turning I think we are put off from ever going back again. You would hope employees could see it wasn't edible and not serve it?

Absolutely great place to get a sandwich! The young ladies working here are so nice and polite. I had a ham sandwich and my wife had turkey. Both sandwiches were delicious and looked like an advertisement. It was very quiet and clean in the store. We're already talking about ordering one of their complete dinners. Definitely worth checking this place out. A+

They used to be really good and had a lot of hot and cold sandwich options but when we went in there last they reduced the options from 10-12 choice to only 2... cold ham or turkey. Not to mention the price used to include a side and a salad but now is the same price for only a sandwich. We still ordered and bought a side but they didn't even heat it up so we got cold potatoes. It's definitely not worth your money anymore for an individual meal which is so sad because I really loved going

Today I went here with my mom. We had 2 gift cards, both for $50. We weren't sure what to get, told the girl that we just wanted to spend the gift cards. I guess one of the cards only had $2, not $50 on it. We ordered approx. $97 worth of ham and turkey. She rang it up, then told us we owed $43 more and some change. We said oh, we didn't realize one wasn't full, we want to put back the turkey. The girl was rude, and said no, I already rang it up. My mom and I said there is no way to put it back, our transaction isn't even complete. She just said, I can't do anything about this rudely. So I proceeded to pay the additional because the girl was so rude and I didn't want to argue although it was weird. I'll never go back. Neither will my mom or sister n law who gave us the gift cards. It wasn't even about the policy, it was her tone of voice. It's strange because the transaction was still open. Doesn't even make sense.
