The smells.. oh the smells.. it'll draw you in from miles away with how good it smells. And the taste is even better! Highly recommend the butter chicken pizza and asking for the garlic cheese naan.

Excellent food, especially if you’re looking for some authentic Indian-inspired cuisine! We had the chettinad chicken pizza and it was really delicious; reminded me of pizzas that you would get in india. The day we visited, they also had a dosa stand and it was as authentic as it gets!

Best pizza ever! If you love Indian food you have a new favorite spot. Little gem here in Escondido. We got the tikka paneer and added mushrooms. You can also add tofu. This place is awesome and I can’t wait to try all the vegetarian options on the menu. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of options including tofu!!!!!

Pizza sizes are good. Decent crust, although sides burnt. Too soggy. Good amount of ingredients.

Great service. I ordered the Saag Paneer + Ricotta Large Pizza and the Butter Chicken Large Pizza. Got $5 Mango Lassi & $5 Rose Lassi to enjoy in the car while waiting for my order. They called my phone telling me to come back once everything was ready. The rose lassi looked like strawberry milk but tasted like a very flowery version. Had the consistency of Mango Lassi but tasted like SereniTea San Marcos's Rose Milk Tea. It was a nice sweet treat. I personally looooooved the Mango Lassi. Tasted way better than most I've had. My partner and I really enjoyed the pizza. It was pretty thin and floppy. My partner got to fold his slice like he likes to and devoured half the butter chicken large pizza by the time I finished one slice. I eat slower from picking off onions and cilantro pieces. But the pizza was so good I enjoyed my slices even if I wasn't able to pick everything off. It seems like most pizzas get green peppers, chopped onion, and finely chopped cilantro sprinkled on top by default. I'll be sure to keep that in mind the next time I come back. I don't like onions or cilantro But oh yes I loved the pizzas. Definitely impressed by my first visit to Tikka Pizza. I undeniably see myself coming back and craving this.

Super happy to find out there are easy vegan options here. We live right up the street and have anticipated the opening of this very cool pizza place. We had the Achari Gobi made vegan, which was very fresh and well seasoned. Looking forward to trying more options and adding this to an easy dinner rotation.

Wow it's Indian food on another level! It is absolutely delicious! I accidentally ran into this place located in a small plaza in Escondido. I am typically very picky when it comes to pizza and I have only 2 go-to places. This place was surprisingly good and the service was quick! Highly recommend if you like Indian food.

Rani was just a darling and made us the most delicious food!! The mango lassi was literally the best we’ve EVER had and she even let us be the first to test her badam and saffron milk and it was TO DIE FOR ✨?

This is my new happy place! As soon as I opened the door Chef Rani welcomed me and offered help with my selections on the menu. I already had my heart on the Butter Chicken pizza, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was beautiful... Yes, I said beautiful! The fragrance of the spices were pleasantly intoxicating, worldly and sophisticated! My family loved it so much that we ended up coming back for more right the next day! We felt so welcomed by Chef Rani and her assistant! We are planning on being long term customers!!!I highly and sincerely recommend everyone to visit the Escondido TPK! It is SUPERB!!!P.S.Love the Mango Lasi... delicious & pair very well with the pizza. A must try!!!

Y'all - I've waited TOO LONG to tell you about my amazing find in Escondido! Tikka Pizza Kitchen offers vegan versions of 10 (yes,TEN!) of their innovative INDIAN FOOD PIZZAS on pizza-shaped NAAN dough!! My absolute favorite is their "Saag Paneer" Pizza (my all-time favorite Indian dish that I've missed altogether since becoming vegan - we're talking A LONG TIME!!!) What they do is sub out vegan cheese and add well-seasoned firm tofu cubes that pretty darn well approximate the paneer - it's orgasmic!!!! Why I say I've waited too long is because it took me FIVE TRIES of calling in the last few weeks and them not having the tofu to find out that I have been the ONLY VEGAN CUSTOMER ORDERING FROM THEM FOR A YEAR!!!!! We cannot allow this delicious resource to disappear. I told them (after they finally special ordered their vegan ingredients for me) that I would get our community to come out and support them so they keep making these epic pies for us... So consider yourself informed! There's only a couple of outdoor tables at this location on Felicitas. It's really for take out... They also have a store I've not been to - in San Diego on Miramar Road. Shout out to Rani for making this happen for me last night... I took the pic - and dove in - in the car - I couldn't wait!!!!!! **The ONLY thing that would make it better is if the Escondido store was a larger venue with a nice dine-in option. If we send a lot of business their way, perhaps that will come! Not sure yet about the Miramar location, but with all those mouth-watering offerings described, will definitely have to check it out sometime!** Enjoy ADDENDUM: Tikka Pizza Kitchen replied to this post with the following yummy news... Tes Kempner First of all thank you for your patience. We had a shortage on vegan cheese and missed to stock up and we came to know that you had called five times so we went and got it for you. We are sorry for the long wait. Btw, have you tried our other vegan sauces? You can do curry pizza , chettinadu pizza, other than saag .. we have introduced another vegan sauce at our Miramar location for a limited time .. it's called vadacurry.. Also, we do a lot of vegan Indo-Chinese cuisine at Tikka Pizza Kitchen - Miramar. Please do try our Hakka noodles, burnt garlic rice, chili gobi( cauliflower), cauliflower Manchurian , veg momos to start with. We are planning to make vadacurry pizza at Escondido also based on the response we get at Miramar. So kindly spread the word. Thank for your awesome review.

I never made it to tiki pizza, I called around 345pm on a Sunday, they said call back we're on break, then I called at 430pm and they said that they were not serving food yet and that they'll take my order at 5pm, I called back at 5pm they said they were not taking orders till 530p, so I called back at 530pm... She told me to call back in 15 minutes. I did not call back again, 4 phone call attempts were enough. No where on yelp or Google did they say they close down or that they don't take orders till 530pm. Very disappointed. It actually turned me off to the entire franchise itself. I really hope I was the only one this happened to but I wouldn't be surprised if there are many incidents. I can't comment about the food cause Ive never tried it and possibly never will. Can someone suggest another Indian pizza place that wants my business!!! Thank you
