Haven't been to Yoshinoya in quite a while. Probably because there isn't a location convenient to where I tend to go and they closed the Kearny Mesa location which was where I used to go.They weren't very busy when I arrived, the service was very friendly and the food fresh and hot. I did need to remind the server about my soft drink which he immediately corrected with a very pleasant manner.

I couldn't even tell you.... think I sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes before giving up, backing out and leaving. At one point someone said give me a minute and then nothing.

Get me wrong Yoshinoya is awesome. Usually awesome. The beef normally is really really good, and beef bowl my favorite. This particular location in Escondido has gotten worse and worse every single time I come here. I'm literally sitting here right now. My order is wrong. Nobody working here cares. The rice is dry. Tiny pieces of beef in my bowl. It's terrible. Doesn't even taste good. I am never coming back here again. don't waste your money here. Maybe try a location in LA.

Got the XL meal combo so I could have lunch the next day. Everything including the noodles were so dry! The orange chicken had no sauce the sweet chili shrimp also had no sauce. Is the meal supposed to be so dry???? Won't be coming back if this is normal. Maybe they forgot the sauces??

I went to Yoshinoya for the first time last week. They got my order wrong. I went back today trying to have a better experience. They got my order wrong again. I tried to have them correct it and they got it wrong again.

After I checked the reviews,I almost skip this place,but I love yoshinoya beef rice a lot,so I want to give it a try! Sweet chill shrimp is fresh cooking that's why wait long time,but taste pretty nice,original beef was soooooo good and juicy,its so nice to eat with rice.that's exactly what I want.It deserved the waiting time.but the poor management same as other bad reviews. I feel bad for the poor staff. I only ordered beef rice in second time,I guess don't need to wait too long time for only beef

I recently moved to the area and decided to give this place a try because I was craving Japanese food Upon seeing the reviews I became a little worried, but decided to ahead anyway as it was reasonable priced and it seemed pretty hard to mess up my teriyaki chicken/beef combo. It would be unfair to deem the food here as putrid or disgusting, as it was EDIBLE, but I've had far better meals at hospitals, or with pre-made $2 frozen rice bowls at an average grocery store. If you're looking for the authentic Japanese convenience store and/or prison experience, this is your place. If you're looking to eat a good meal, steer clear.

Fast food restaurant with a simple concept that serves rice and protein. Some days, all I want is rice, chicken, and vegetables, and this is the place to get it. I always use the mail-in coupons, and today I got a two-2 combo plate for only $14. The food is light, filling, and fresh, as well as inexpensive.
One of my favorite fast food places.Service is fast and the employees are very nice.They always hook me up with a bunch of ginger, Siracha andpepper.My personal favorite!Lovee this place!

My god. this has to be the worst food i've ever had!!! place was super dirty, tables, floor. Honestly health inspectors need to come and take a look. Food was so bad. this was our first time here and WILL never come back again!! Honestly want a refund :(.

BAD SERVICE!!! POOR SERVICE!! There's 4 of them and only 3 customers inside and 2 cars outside (yes I did verified that) service. Patiently waiting for 20mins and finally asked where's my order. I was skipped with 2 customers!!! Ridiculous!!! It was my 3rd time here and order takes forever.
