The service at the Eureka location was amazing. Server was polite, prompt and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The food on the other hand was not Mexican. The rice was dry, (almost like Indian rice) , the beans didn't have too much flavor and the tamale and Chile relleno I had seemed like it was just warmed in the microwave. My friend who raves about the burrito was also just meh. The salsa for the chips was great. Again great service but far from what I remember when they first started out. Will give another shot and hope for better results!

Great carnitas and really excellent salsa! Huge portions, so it's a good value for the money. Right near the movie theater, so it's ideal for dinner and a movie nearby. Love this place;.

Amazing service and delicious food! Our server provided us with great suggestions of which meat would go best in which style of food and she was totally correct! Portion size is food and the flavor was impeccable.

Was surprised to find it virtually empty at 6 pm on a Saturday (only 3 other guests present) worked perfectly for me and my family (8 adults and 4 kids) service was decent no issues with our orders. I ordered a carnitas chimichanga which was pretty good although it was pretty small ?. My sister and her family frequent the establishment quite often though. Hope to try it again when I visit Eureka again.

How is this little taco $5?? It would be understandable if I paid this much for two or if the one taco was made with higher quality ingredients. This place is a rip off. Only come here if you want to get the stink eye from the owner. The man who obviously owns the place has a terrible attitude, I asked to use the restroom and he rolled his eyes as my brother was ordering himself the taco. What's wrong being nice to customers or strangers? Very disappointed in this human interaction

Great flavor and quick turnaround. We had a fajita burrito and the number 4. Both were quite good. Our to go order didn't come with chips and salsa. I enjoyed it.

Second time eating here.Did not get what I ordered so i told the waiter there was a misunderstanding I also wanted an enchilada 2 things.He got defensive and I stopped him and said i didn't care why I just wanted another item.Not the service we enjoyed earlier this year driving up the coast.I will still try it next trip as food is really good.

An amazing find!! Their marinated carnitas in an enchilada are probably the best I’ve ever had, very well cooked with a great flavor. Tried chili relleno for the first time and loved it - absolutely recommend the enchiladas and chili relleno too.

Got nachos there today. Nothing fancy. Seems like they microwaved them though to melt the cheese. Service was good. The folk I was with liked what they got.

Their red sauce on their dishes is watered down and gross. I decided to give them a second chance. They tried to charge me $19 for a Chile Colorado lunch place that was priced at $10. I asked why it was so much. The server said they they gave me tortillas with it and that's what differentiates the lunch from dinner place pricing. I ordered at 12:24 pm. I specifically asked for the Chile Colorado lunch place with rice and beans. He argued with me saying I did not. He said I didn't specify which one so he automatically chose the dinner plate for me. Terrible customer service and gross food.
Felt like having Mexican food and the food here was your typical Mexican fare but still delicious. The prices are very reasonable and They make the best margaritas that are super huge.

Pro tip: ask if they'll make you a spicy margarita, and adding that to the peach is off the hook good. My husband had a chili relleño burrito, and I had a chili verde burrito with mole salsa on top. Both were delicious. I'm not sure why people think it isn't in a great neighborhood. It wasn't scenic but was fine. But I've spent a lot of time in Oakland and weird parts of San Francisco, so maybe my bar is low. Servers are really nice.

Excellent Service! I wish I caught the servers name but he was very personable. My boyfriend and I were splitting a meal - he brought us 2 of everything with no charge. We got a veggie burrito with green sauce - was wonderful. My boyfriend also got margarita which he liked. And the chips - really good too - super thin and served warm. The server ( I wish I caught his name) also inquired as to where we were from, where we were going and gave us some road trip stop ideas which we look full advantage of. Appreciate his time and kindness =)

I've got sick here before, once at the Mckinleyville location back in 2017, summer, my boss bought my lunch so the next day I was in the restroom, just going. Never went there again. So now the one on Broadway (so sad)I wanted to give them some sort of Redemption with a second chance. Nope - I was out of luck and got sick again.
