“Things were great all and all, and they work hard to keep their customers happy. I really hope the family friend I brought who is visiting Humboldt, genuinely enjoyed her food over being agreeable. Honestly, it doesn't matter because we were there to spend time together and for the experience and we had a terrific time indeed. Her pho was fitting for the cold & rainy day. My tofu Pad Kee Mao was very modest, not in spices, but everything else aside from noodles. I dressed it up with some condiments that came with the pho before taking photos. If it weren't for the level 10 Spice level it would have been a very child-friendly dish. The staff are always fantastic. ?Vegetarian options: Too many to list. This is a vegetarian & vegan friendly restaurant.Dietary restrictions: They even offer vegan broth for the pho.Parking: The medium lot is tight and often mostly full, but you're likely to get a spot. If you don't there's plenty of street parking all around. Never an issue.Kid-friendliness: Bigger rounded corner booths accommodate families & friends.Wheelchair accessibility: Seems to be wheelchair friendly & accessible from parking to the front door width (both sides open) and could fit at any table or booth inside.“
“Every town deserves a delicious soup shop. Great place for a cup of yellow curry soup. I highly recommend both the hot noodle bowl and the cold noodle salad. They are both HUGE portions and so customizable you can get something different every time you come in. The basil vinaigrette is my absolute favorite on a cold noodle salad, but my partner loves the wasabi vinaigrette. A great place for a fresh and delicious lunch or dinner. I always feel good after I eat here, the food makes me feel energized rather than tired and sluggish.“
“Really good food. This is a restaurant Humboldt County desperately needed. I have eaten here about a dozen times and everything I have tried has been great. Most dishes are offered in four spice levels, so if you like spicy food as I do you will love it. (I highly recommend the Moo Vampire at the Thai spicy level.)The only downside to this place is the dinning room is small and they are popular so it is always crowded.I really can't recommend Bencharong enough though.“
“We are staying in an rv park very close and just happened to see this place late on a Monday. Good thing cause they are closed Tues for dinner. It was fabulous food and service. The server was so pleasant and efficient. We got the Rama as we are always looking for fabulous peanut sauce and this ranks right up there with the best we have had. There was not a hint of grease or oil. We asked for mixed vegetables instead of just broccoli and there was an up charge we were advised of and we did it anyway. We had jasmine rice which was tasty. My hub ate all of his and I took half Home so the portions were decent. We would go back again tomorrow except it is Tuesday and they will be closed. The parking lot is decent sized and easy in out. Because we saw quite a few cars around 8pm we decided to try it out. One caution is the floor is unreasonably slippery and you just be very careful if it is wet outside. They had caution floor slippery signs and floor mats but just a small step off the mat made me slip but not fall. Just sitting at the table my feet felt like they were on ice. They need to fix that. The restaurant appeared and smelled clean. I did not check out the restrooms. With that caution go and Enjoy a fabulous Thai meal with a Chang beer.“
