The pork belly bahn mi was delicious. I got medium spice level and will definitely be getting the spicy bahn mi next. The pork belly was juicy and tender. The pickled carrots were awesome and so was the roll it came on.

Passed this place the day before and thought "Oh we're coming back." Got up this morning and drove over from where we were camping, and I gotta say 100% worth the drive. It was a little pricey, but for such a good reason. We got 2 smoothies, mine peaches and cream and the other the litchi, both with boba and whipped cream. Got to take a sip before he handed us our food, and I knew just from that the food was going to be so good. We ordered 2 sandwiches, mine pork and the other chicken, with all the veggies, sauce, and such, both mild. SOOOOO GOOD. I absolutely devoured mine. We'll probably be back again tomorrow, but next time I'm getting it with avocado and probably the medium spice level.

Can't wait to try Z&J, again. I tried them when they first opened a few yrs back. Now that I live here I want to go get a Z& J sub. I love Báhn Mì. Met the owner, nice guy. He told me his wife does the cooking. I wish they were open longer hours. My nephew William, loves Z&J Asian Subs. I love the Boba & Báhn mì. This place makes me not miss San Jose, quite so much. A jewel in Eureka. Can't wait to try the beef báhn mì.

This is one of Humboldt County's hidden gems!!! Its right on the outskirts of Target and I drove by so many time before I decided to try it out!! Boy I wish I did it sooner!!! I love the boba smoothies so much I can get one everyday! Love the BBQ chicken bhan mis and the rice bowls. It reminds me of Waba Grill down south but so much fresher!!!!!!

This turned out to be one heck of a surprise. Hands down one of my favorite sandwiches. Pork belly was great and loved the zip of the sauce along with the marinated carrots. Guaranteed will be back again when I come visit my family. It's definitely a little bit of a wait but I think it's well worth it.
I found this place on Yelp driving up the 101. I almost went to another place, but I saw great reviews for the food here. Some people said they had bad experience with the staff on reviews I saw, but I thought the guy I interacted with was pleasant & helpful. But the food! I still keep thinking about the pulled pork banh mi! The BBQ sauce and other flavors are mouth watering. It's not beautiful or gourmet - it's just damn good! Usually I go veggie, but tofu can be done horribly sometimes. I ordered both sandwiches to see - I could barely put either down!!! The tofu was firm and tasty! I would get again. It's no pulled pork - but it's solid. I will come back if I pass through town again. The smoothie (Pom-Blueberry) was delicious, too! Thanks for solid travel food. It's not McDonalds - don't expect the drive through to move less than a minute a car - lower your expectations to a realistic level.

Honestly the subs are really good, but the ppl running the place are the worst! Probably the longest I have ever waited for food I ordered online in advance. I ordered my subs(2 smalls) a half hr before needing to pick them up, and when I arrived had to wait in the same line of cars as everyone ordering for upon arrival?! Even though they have two windows on opposite sides of their building, perfect for one online order line and one order upon arrival line... Are you kidding me, what was the point of ordering in advance? I waited for over 30minutes in a line of cars 7 deep, and was late getting back to work. I won't be giving them my business ever again

This is the first time in my life I wish I could leave a -5 review. I never leave negative reviews for a business. But then I have never been treated so disrespectfully before in my life. I am a local restaurant owner and I would never dream of treating a customer the way we were treated here today. I am beyond appalled by the rudeness and contempt from the owner himself. Does he not understand that his customers satisfaction is what keeps his business running? Unbelievable! Today is my granddaughter's 12th Birthday. She was given some money by her father to get herself a Boba Smoothie. She has been waiting to go here for a couple days. So since she came to spend her Birthday with me, I decided to take her to get her Boba Smoothie today. I myself had never been here, so I was excited to try something new. I had 3 grand kids in total with me. With that being said, any of you who have children or grandchildren understand that when kids are excited they all want to talk at the same time. And I can understand someone getting frustrated by this. However being told that he is the only person that should be being listened to while placing an order, Wow! Really? He then told us to come to the window. At this point I apologized for the confusion (even thou I was the one being disrespected) as he is wiping our entire order off of his little order sheet with an attitude. When we started to re-order. He again was extremely rude and very short with me. So I told him I couldn't believe the customer service I was receiving (or lack there of) . That I was a local restaurant owner and would never think about talking to a customer the way he was talking to me. As soon as that came out of my mouth he then told me I could leave and to come back another time when they weren't busy. Really? Um no, I will never be back and I can guarantee non of my friends or family will be back either. I am still in complete shock. It was so bad. I was in shock, my grand kids were upset. I took my grand kids to Ultimate Yogurt to get their Boba instead. Where we were treated like we were human and appreciated for spending our money with them. I hope and prey that the owner here reads this review, thinks about his actions, and realizes that it is his customers that pay his bills and keep his place of business running. As I look over the prior reviews I see this behavior is a pattern from this man. Just a disgusting display of customer service. Beyond disappointed.
