Really good food prepared by a skilled chef. Very friendly and attentive staff, owner also stopped by the table to check in. It had a small French restaurant vibe. There was plenty of wine and wine testing if that is your thing. Cozy dining area with patio dining also available. Plenty of street parking available. There was a clarinet player performing, I'm not sure if that's the norm, but I went on a Wednesday so it's probably something they normally have? Worth the drive to Exeter.

A place slightly off the road to Sequoia Park in a small town in the middle of orange groves which does not lack charm (painted walls, etc.). Sympathetically Franco-American atmosphere with a menu with the same reflection. The dishes are hearty, goutrux and very affordable. The wine list is extensive, and the “testing” is very professional and friendly. In fact, just like the service (5*) everything is perfect!!

Excellent restaurant and wine bistro. Having stumbled upon it by chance (thanks to the internet), we discovered a little gem, a small and welcoming environment with helpful and welcoming staff. Discovered very good wines and excellent dishes. Prices in line with the quality of the products. To pass through and to return.Parking: Outside the restaurant along the road you will find numerous public car parks

My husband and I went for Valentine's Day. He had the scallops and enjoyed them. I had the halibut in a cream sauce that was probably the best I've ever tasted. Salad was delicious and the pear Brie was scrumptious. Sides were couscous and cauliflower. The couscous was a cold gelatinous mass. cauliflower was cold and mushy, so I didn't eat them. Staff was delightful and the place is cozy and we loved the ambiance. Overall a nice experience. I would recommend.

Great food and ambiance, we especially enjoyed the live music playing clarinet. Great selection of French bistro and also American cuisine

The food & everything was good. They had a small select menu as it was valentine's day but it was a good selection. My concern is that there was a waiter, (i'm not sure if he was an owner or just worked there) & he went around to all the lovely couples & asked them about their relationship, how long they had been together, etc. As soon as he got to our table he asked us if we were done with our plates & took them away. Me & my partner felt a bit weirded out. We are both women but we were very obviously a couple & it felt very rude. Such a sad experience as this is only our second time here & the first time our waitress was lovely & acknowledged that we were together & was just so sweet & even gave us postcards to mail out for free! Again, food is amazing but that was just such an odd experience on what was supposed to be a romantic, lovely day.

Had reservations for almost a month for anniversary. Anniversary was never mentioned and seating choice was sharing a bench with someone else or a high table, with extremely uncomfortable chairs. My husband never received his soup he ordered. My meal was served in a broken dish. Ordered the dessert special and they didn't have it, though it was all over social media and on the nightly menu. Waiting an hour for this meal, after ordering, hardly seeing the server, was highly not worth it.

Great place for a date night, one of the only places in Exter that is nice enough to dress up or go casual. Great place for dinner after visiting the sequoia national park nearby! Girlfriend described it as being out of a movie

We just celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at Monets and the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. They have a gentleman playing the clarinet and the atmosphere was magical. After dinner we danced to It Had To Be You and the other diners joined us. It was a beautiful evening thanks to Monets!

A gorgeous restaurant. Live music. Friendly service. I felt pampered! There was so many tempting options on the menu. A couple celebrating their anniversary got serenaded by the jazz player. They held up their uber ride to get the full effect! It was super sweet. The owner couldn't have been nicer! You could tell she was delighted to take care of her customers! I can't wait to return!

Boring and not tasty food for such a wonderful ambiance. Everything was heavy. The linguini was drowing in tasteless butternut squash sauce. Salmon was overbaked. Burger - perhaps the classic would’ve been better. Definitely avoid brie and peach add-ons. And to make matters worse they charge more than the best restaurants in LA.
