“What a hidden gem! Great place for a sandwich and a coffee or a baked item - or all three! Inside is nice, but their patio is the best! Lots of seating and a little coffee bar building in the back, multiple fountains, a few roosters running around. What a great place to work or hang out, perfect old Fair Oaks vibe!“

“O Cafe is the hidden gem of Fair Oaks. Hell, it's the hidden gem of Sac County. Everything I've eaten here from the croissants and scones to the amazing specials (the boeuf bourguignon was fantastic) has been delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. This place has quickly become one of our go-tos.“

“Mirabelle cafe is a gem. Very rare to find a place in USA with such a great choice of delicious foods. To appreciate it you need to come here regularly and you'll realize how good it is. It's been around for 20 years for a reason. The owner is kind hearted man, the cook is excellent, and staff is very polite. Just come without having high expectations of service and other "modern generation" nonsense. They are doing their best for visitors to enjoy their meals, and working hard to make the business successful.I wish more people find out about their breakfasts and bring this place more revenue for it to keep serving the community with style.Prices are beyond reasonable. I'd say even cheap for what you get.Convenient cozy location, plenty of room and light.Always great coffee and pastries.Vegetarian options. For big groups I'd recommend to call before so they are prepared for you to come in since they are often short-staffed.“

“We had not been here in awhile so we decided to try Chicha again and what a great surprise!! The food was delicious and had the taste my wife was looking for and she being Peruvian knows very well the meaning of that. If you love Peruvian food I highly recommend you head over here and check it out. The owners and staff made sure the experience was a fantastic one. They are opening a second Chicha in Midtown at the end of March. Excellent Restaurant.“

“Came on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. The inside was brightly lit with cute white seating. We loved the adorable bear logo throughout. The menu had your standard drinks and some specials. The desserts sounded great and wish we could try them all. We decided the magic mango, Oreo smoothie, and cookies and cream Swiss roll. The magic mango was a mango milk and was amazing! I've never thought the two could work together but it does! Our drinks came in the cutest cups with the bear lid. I'm so sad we didn't take a picture! We'll be back to try more desserts and drinks!“

“Found Wtcr after the other independent I wanted to go to was too busy. Super good lavender latte, not too lavendery, plus a mocha half sweet was excellent too. Very nice employees, cute space and fancy pastries made in house looked too good to eat. Maybe that next time.“

“Hidden gem! Just moved to the area and was hesitant to finding any nice coffee shops in this neighborhood but was pleasantly surprised after entering Cafe 33. They serve all of Peet’s coffee products, all the same drinks from their menu. Plus they have an entire bakery section with assorted treats and muffins and pastries that they make everything IN HOUSE. A full breakfast / lunch menu with bagel sandwiches and paninis ? and to top it off, a very relaxing and cozy atmosphere on the inside. Tons of space and seating for hanging out or doing computer work or just enjoying a cup of coffee. Super friendly barista. Definitely going to be my new go to spot.“

“Bloom is amazing! The atmosphere is very fresh clean and comfortable - staff is very nice and accommodating. You get the sense that the staff here are well taken care of and that reflects in the vibe and hospitality. They offer a lot of healthy options for those who don't eat meat, and lots of options for those who do. I ordered a salad and a coffee. The flavor of the coffee was amazing and you can taste the quality in the salad. Highly recommend.“

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“I recently discovered this bakery and I've been back at least once a week since. The service is excellent and personal. I love a family run small business! I can see into the kitchen and see a Nonna and Poppa making my pastries and so the food is top tier. ? I especially love the Blueberry scone and a new to me treat, Gata. All the pastries, I've tasted have been wonderful (cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc)Parking: It's in a shopping plaza on a main road, but I often get parking right in front of the bakery.Kid-friendliness: My kids love their cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies.“

“This particular World Travelers Coffee Roasters location is one of my favorites! The atmosphere is upbeat and positive. Big windows provide a lot of light, whether sunny or not. Which lends to the great view of the always busy yet interesting E. Bidwell thorough fare.On this particular visit, I was craving a honey lavender coffee and one of the many pastries that is offered. Blame it on the rain:). Hot coffee, warmed pastry... Definitely calling to me!It's always so nice to enter any business and have smiling faces and hellos from the peeps behind the counter. Today, that was three beautiful ladies full of energy and greeting me with their bubbly enthusiasm. I love that!Chatting with them while ordering my extra hot, honey lavender, and yummy looking pistachio muffin was pleasurable as I was not in my cray cray hurry up mode.Obviously, I am not the only one who enjoys World Travelers on East Bidwell as it was packed! The hum of talking, the laptops clicking and solo people sipping and staring into space. Oh yeah!My order was delicious and perfect! I kinda wished I could have had the time to sit there and enjoy. But not in the stars today. Next time for sure.Thank you, lovey ladies, for your over-the-top customer service and sweet saying written on my cup! Oh, and the pistachio pastry was fabulous.Cheers!“

“Came here on a Monday morning to enjoy some alone time. Outdoor seating was pleasant. Tables and silverware not the most clean but they had some good vegetarian and vegan options. So it's a 5/5 for me. I would eat here again. The soup was good but the vegan tamale was very very good.“

“Good food, though I wish I had been given a choice of the regular vs vegan cinnamon roll. Wasn't aware there were two kinds until I reviewed the online menu at home later. Also, buyers beware! I was overcharged. The printed menu listed one price, and I was charged another. When I pointed it out to our server, they didn't apologize. Just disappeared for 10 minutes before giving me an adjusted bill. Am thankful that the printed menu price was honored.“

“I work at MSJ and went here for the first time because the prices are comparable to the hospital cafeteria and a coworker recommended them. I had the birria quesadilla and Mexican corn. Delicious!!! “The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. We went out with some friends and 3 children and I loved that they were able to put us in a backroom so that we didn't feel like the kids were disturbing others. The food was delicious, and although it did not seem like a massive portion compared the Black Bear Diner, it was very filling and the Santa Fe Scramble left me wanting a nap afterwards. Although I do wish they included a little more salsa with it.“

“Pretty busy on St. Patrick's Day. The service was quick and good. Martina was very friendly. I had the chicken fried steak and it was made fresh. The steak was a bit too chewy but it was flavorful. “If you're looking for a nice, relaxing vibe in a coffee shop, Shady Coffee and Tea is a great spot! They have a few seating options inside & out. They also keep the music at a level conducive to conversation & studying. The plants give it a nice touch as well. It's kind of like a "come over and hang in my back patio" homey feel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough! My friend's Chai was "too Chai" for her and they quickly took care of it for her. I also had questions about the place such as, are they open to community events (art classes), what type of power sources they have, etc. All of my questions were answered and I was given the owner's email address. By the way, they have several power sources inside and only one outside. I'd recommend charging your devices and bringing a backup power source, just in case. Check it out!“

“Franco and his wife are awesome. They take care of me every time, even if I'm an hour late for breakfast. Brought my friend and his dog last time, and the wife brought out extra bacon for the pupper! Couldn't be nicer people if they tried. When I first saw the prices at Francos, I thought the menu must be ten years old. It's not. I actually called and checked. Still couldn't believe it.As for the food itself, you will not find a more perfectly cooked dish this side of grandma's house. It's amazing. We love you guys, Franco!“

“I had a craving for pistachio Turkish delight and found my way here. I ended up getting a variety pack of goods.Baklava was solid.Turkish delight nougat stuff was fabulous (will definitely get it here moving forward when I have a craving vs. Amazon)Some of the items were just ok, but the person working there also recommended this honey soaked pastry with a cream inside (see photos) and I'm still dreaming about it, so yummy! When the weather gets warm, I'll definitely be back for the famous ice cream (I love Turkish ice cream - it was just rainy when I visited so opted for the pastry goods instead!) “What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Got a burger since it was advertised as their award winning burger and it was excellent. My wife got tomato soup as well as a meat quiche. I should've gotten the meat quiche. That was also really good as well. To top it I got a bloody Mary. They seem like they didn't mix it well and I felt all the alcohol was on top. No points taken off though since it was good anyways.“
“Get yourself here to try some of the delectable gelato flavors. Each one we tried was delicious and we can't wait to get back to try more. They also offer banana splits, shakes, and affogatos. The coffee used for the affogato was not my favorite (but the gelato more than made up for it). Keeping the 5 stars since it was good, but I'm just kind of a coffee snob (went to coffee tasting classes and brew small batch, freshly ground beans in a French press daily). Overall, great service and ambience with good quality product. Highly recommend.“

“Everything we've tried here has been great, but my favorites are the Asian noodle salad and the club sandwich on a croissant. Always have to get a chocolate chip cookie too. The staff is always friendly and try to be as quick as they can but sometimes it's a bit busy and they're a bit overwhelmed. Depending on who put together your to go order if you're picking up food, you may always want to check it. Some of the employees are good about checking to make sure you have the right items and a complete order but I've had a couple of instances where I had to question things were missing. It's not intentional, just gets overlooked.. Despite that one challenge I definitely recommend this place at least for takeout“

“Loved it. Ordered using the kiosk. Customizable sweetness, ice, milk and boba types. The Taro at 50% sweet with the golden boba was perfect for my taste. The place was clean and cute.“
