Great freeway access and loads of parking. The food is very good and the prices are more than reasonable. Plenty of comfy seating. The service is very quick. This location also has a first-rate bar with TV for your viewing pleasure.

The service was great. The young ladies were checking in on us and very helpful. Restaurant is beautiful inside. Great music. It was honestly the food quality and cost I had issues with. I got the street tacos as a plate. The tacos were dry/burnt, barley had meat, and they had no flavor. The serving was small for $18. It made me wish I would have gone to a taco truck. My mom got the enchiladas and tamales and everything was very basic/no flavor. My kids got crunchy tacos. Same thing... Barley had meat, meat was dry and they had no flavor. For 4 people (2 adults/2 kids) we spent almost $100 and it was not worth it. I love supporting local businesses so I hope they do something about the cooking.

I come in to have small talk and a shot, with my sister. Four shots cost $64. Absolutely insane $16 per shot? I could buy a bottle for a little over that. Definitely a huge scam. I do not recommend coming here overpriced and overrated.

Closest to San Jose. This is a compliment. San Jose knows great Mexican food. Especially the hole in the wall places. This is far from a hole in the wall but extremely close to that type of food. Every time we come here we are reminded of San Jose. The food is always cooked to perfection. I love their fajita burrito. Order it wet. You won't be disappointed. Their bartenders also can make a mean drink. They share a parking lot with a Chuck E. Cheese. Don't be discouraged if the parking lot looks full. They have parking on the side of the building. Definitely try them if you haven't. You won't be disappointed.

We just had a large party at Gordita's. There was another large party in the next room. They were awesome Food was delicious. Service excellent even though they had two large groups Highly recommend them for any get together or a meal out. Joyce

Such a bad experience in this beautiful place but the service is terrible and the food is worse. We come from Oakland and I am a cook and I know when some meat is not good. We lost a pozole, a mole to start, the red pork meat and a bad smell and the mole with shredded meat, that's not the case, you have to cook the entire portion of the chicken and it tastes not at all pleasant, so it hurts the place, its food is not recommended, apart from it taking 45 minutes to serve ?

Love this place. I've been coming here & their prior location on Folsom street for over 25 years! I've never had a bad dish here. The soups are excellent . The pozole is my favorite though! Bring cash because they don't take cards.

Service was quick and food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the Margarita Flight, Gordito's Platter, 2 Ground Beef Tacos, Gordito's Wet Burrito and Flan. Let's start off with the inside of this restaurant is Gorgeous, very well decorated and our waitress was amazing. Margarita Flight had great size drinks, Platter is large enough for 2 to 4 people, Tacos had great flavor and the Refried Beans are delicious. Burrito is huge had leftovers to take home and who can go wrong with Flan for dessert. Will definitely be visiting again!

Nothing exciting about this place, or that makes me want to come back, except maybe Quentin. He was a polite and attentive young man who came by to check on us often. That was about where the positive ends.We have eaten tons of Mexican, and my husband's favorite is chips and salsa. After reading the reviews, I was hopeful. However, the chips were hard, not warm, no salt, almost stale tasting. Salsa was pretty good. We asked what size the margaritas were and were told 12oz, knowing that couldn't be correct we ordered one anyways. It actually came in a 32oz glass, would've been great except the margarita was flavorless and was water downed, tasted like lime water. I tried the margarita flight, looked pretty, but was not horrible, but lucky to have 1oz of tequila between all 4 of the flavors. We ordered a couple of things from the menu, and we were told by them that they didn't have it, and when we said it was on the menu, they were like ohhh you mean...(exactly what we said). One of the orders was incorrect, then they remade it, and the burrito came with lettuce, like who puts lettuce in a burrito, especially when it's not listed on the menu.Portion for price, not worth it, and taquitas were half empty. There's more, but basically, you can tell our experience wasn't great, so we'll go back to St Louis and Indy, where we have our favorite spots. Oh yeah, the atmosphere was boring, and the waitress was, well, she was...

We went to celebrate our mother, who passed away a few months ago. Mom and I would go every Sunday before the Covid pandemic started. I missed the traditional Mexican music, which would had been played in the background. It was definitely missing.
