Stopped by while my kid was in boxing just for a snack, his coach recommended this place. Saw a soup I've never heard of and was intrigued. " Carne en su Jugo" was what it was called. And I'm glad I tried it because it was REALLY GOOD!!! Light yet hearty and tasted so Bomb. The man at the counter was really nice and came out to check if I liked the soup. Great service and prices not too crazy. It pays to try new things and this place didn't disappoint.

Food wasn't bad for some quick. People are kind. Definitely wasn't jacking watching the dude throw beans and rice in the microwave to heat up then serve. Is what it is cheap is cheap don't poop where you eat.

Quintessential Taqueria. Delicious, fresh. The place has a nice but not fancy vibe, great little salsa bar, mexican radio, tasty aguas frescas, friendly family-style feel. It's clean, fairly priced, good portions, great menu.Dietary restrictions: Accommodating w/re to non dairy

Wouldn't know how the food is. It is 730 at night, and yelp says they're open until nine. They are definitely closed. So that's a bummer.

Great authentic Mexican food, not the best location! If you can find parking without a homeless or a drunk being all up in your business. You'll have a good meal.

A recent venture led me to this delightful gem, and I was immediately captivated by its lively ambiance. As a seasoned connoisseur of many establishments, this one distinctly shines. The azure-colored interior transported me, setting the stage for the awaited culinary journey. The fresh and fragrant tortillas and the array of tacos were genuinely delectable with their perfect balance of flavors. However, the highlight for me was their diverse salsa bar. While each variant had its charm, the hot tomato salsa was a revelation, offering a perfect blend of zest and spice. It's clear that this place serves not just food but curated experiences. This is a definite recommendation for anyone pursuing authentic, flavorful delights.

Hadn't been to this place in years as they used to make the best burritos near the base. I have to say I was unfortunately disappointed. The burritos used to be huge, stuffed with expertly seasoned meat. Today, I ordered their El Pastor Jumbo burrito. Maybe my taste has changed but, for me, the meat lacked flavor. The burrito was smaller than what I remember. It was so-so. They used to have fresh made tortilla chips at their salsa bar. Today, they were obviously store bought and overly salty. The salsa was still on point. They also used to give you the choice of refried or black beans in your burrito. Just refried offered now. All in all it was not horrible but, I don't think I'll be going back. With all the Mexican restaurants in this area, they have some stiff competition.

If you’re near Travis Air Force Base and crave authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than Hecho en Mexico. Their street-style tacos are a journey to Mexico in every bite, a delightful surprise in a location where options often lean towards ‘good enough.’ The birria consomé is a revelation, and their rice and beans perfectly complement the main attraction. The restaurant offers more than just good food; it’s well-kept and features an extensive salad bar, including a standout hot tomato salsa. As an Air Force spouse, I’m thrilled to find such quality right by the base. A must-visit for anyone in the area, military or otherwise.

Clean, large space for seating. Sweet staff that are OK if you can't pronounce the items. ? Large delicious breakfast ? burrito. Fresh avocado for an additional charge. Replaced the potatoes with beans for added fiber. Salsa bar included to spice it up. Amazing Horchata with refills. Some say that horchata can:Promote a healthy liverCleanse the kidneysReduce inflammation and painMaintain healthy gut bacteria

Watch them as the ring you up. They just charged me $3 more than the menu price for a regular carne asada burrito. It did taste good.

If I could it would be zero. Fish was a little on the uncooked side. And fish is like those ones u buy and just put out the plastic and put on the grill

Great food and authentic. I am from LA so I was skeptical at first to come but they had excellent horchata, tacos, and quesa birria tacos. Also great customer service. Next time I come visit my brother at the base, I will stop by.
