I have always raved about this place. I called in all of my orders so I really never seen how unsanitary and the re- use of old food.. the chicken was already cooked maybe from the day before..the cashier took cash and packed food with the Same gloves. I don't think I will ever hold this place to the high standards that I once had.

The food smelled old. I bought some spaghetti for my kids and it smelled really old bad smell to it. The greens were honestly gross, the food taste like it's made with reused water and unclean pots & pans ??‍♀️ I wouldn't eat here if it was the last

Being from Chicago we were excited when we saw a JJ Fish on our route to Lake Tahoe. The chicken was good but our perch was awful. So disappointed.I had to send an update. My family actually ended up sick after eating here. Our trip to Tahoe was almost ruined and my daughter threw up our entire ride home. There had to be something wrong with the perch because the only one that didn't get sick was my mother in law who had catfish instead. We will never visit this location again.

This location sucks. I got here around noon on a Friday, made my order than sat down. I noticed the cook in the kitchen taking previously fried chicken (probably from the night before) out of a tote and re frying them for my order. I purchased fried fish also, when I got home there were fresh fish on the top, but the fish on the bottom was old and dry. I spent $120 at this place and will not be returning!

We ordered Red Snapper, small fried shrimp & oyster combo. All 3 were extremely overcooked. The catfish sandwich was good. Because the catfish was a thicker portion than all of the other proteins. Desserts and sides were Great.

This is a twice a month experience for me. Food is prepared pretty good. They serve ample portions. Although there's a dine-in area, most of the business is take-out. I suspect due to it's location.Parking: Parking is shared among other businesses.

If you want old, thin freezer burned, previously frozen fish jerky from a smelly place,, than this is the place for you.
