I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and the service has definitely declined. There are a bunch of young kids basically playing around in the back.... Long wait times. The service was better in the past and considering that Food workers got a raise $20hr you would think they would be more enthusiastic about making things right the first time. This is not just a review because I went in recently. I also gave it a chance one week prior and I thought may be OK. They're just having a bad day, I came in 1hr before closing kind of late so I understood, but I also tried again and it was the same again, so I guess this is a new norm for fairfield kinder :(

Wonderful food! Ribs! Giant sandwiches! Best potato salad! Best bbq sauce! Bbq sauce bottles for sale, many different kinds! Great service for a deli! Everything about it is terrific. Bathroom is for men and women....men dribble sometimes.. overlook it!

I remember the times when going to kinder's was an amazing experience, amazing service quick and accurate, always great attitude from the people behind the counter, now it's like you're asking for free food, the orders are cold, missing ingredients, and if you dare to call to let them know their mistake so they don't do it again, they come with the most ridiculous solutions, my sandwich had missing items oh but I got a couple of blond hairs on it as well, this place sadly has gone to hell ? yuck!

Message to the owner! My family has dined at Kinder’s for over 30 years, it only took this last experience to tarnish all the memories that we shared over this period of time.Your GM, provided the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my 52 years on this earth. It was so bad two of your employees contemplated paying for my replacement salad but I respectfully declined.Your dining room tables are closely aligned and it was lunchtime. I sat at one of the pub tables and began eating my salad. I didn’t even finish a quarter of the salad by the way. Another customer came in and sat at the pub table directly across from me. She coughed directly in my salad. I didn’t say anything to her, I immediately walked to the register and kindly asked for a replacement salad due to the customer coughing directly in my salad.The representative I spoke with was very courteous and mentioned let me get you another salad. Then all of a sudden your GM walked over with an instant attitude, with frown on her face like she wanted to do something to me! She said “I’m not replacing the salad, you could have took the order to go or moved your seat”.I was dumbfounded by this response, something I did not expect. If I’m in the area having lunch during my lunch hr, do I go eat the food in my car? Or know that the customer would cough directly in my food? The customer also had a constant cough after that. The customer didn’t walk in coughing.She then mentioned that she would call the owner if I would like to speak with him and I said sure. She then walked to the back came back to where I was and said never mind she is not calling the owner. She never gave me a chance to explain the situation, was not willing to listen to anything I had to say and was very rude! It came off to me as if I was trying to get over and the salad was more than three quarters full.To have a GM represent your restaurant in this way is troubling to say the least and if we were to ever consider Kinder’s again, it would definitely not be Fairfield.This experience was definitely not a sense of community and a lack of respect for the local community! Sad!!!

This location has gone down hill. The food and service was horrible. Food was old and has been sitting out.

Came in late, ordered a few burgers and fries. Service was fast and very welcoming/pleasant even though their day was winding down. Burgers were good, a double was definitely too big for me to finish. The fries were on point! We are there while the staff was cleaning up for the day but never felt rushed. I have stopped here numerous other times for deli sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and other items and have never been disappointed.
Delicious! Love the food, you can definitely tell that it's a bbq place when you go in. Friendly staff and excellent service. The tri-tip sandwich is my favorite. They sell bottles of their bbq sauce there too which saves me a trip to the store!

So I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. You cannot mix "White Queso Cheese" potato chip dip with over cooked macaroni noodles and call it Mac & Cheese. It actually tasted illegal. Never have I EVER tasted something as awful as that. Throw the entire recipe in a furnace ASAP!!!!
