Servers were courteous and always did their best to accommodate me whenever I had questions about specific items in their menu. I truly enjoy how comfortable they made me feel whenever I dine in or ordered for take out. I love their bento boxes (shrimp tempura, gyoza, beef teriyaki, nigiri), gyudon, and their grilled squid!

Clean, comfortable place. The staff was nice. However, the food was not very good and on the pricey side. I had the chicken teriyaki and the spider roll, neither of which I enjoyed. I probably wouldn't eat here again.

Food was pretty good, the place seems a little run down and the A/C wasn't working when we visited. Half way through the dinner we were sweating and ready to leave.

I can't believe the rating here is as good as it is. The food was not good. The service was acceptable but not much more. There is a large disparity between price and what you get here. I have to assume the good ratings come from those that haven't ever been to another sushi restaurant.
Very authentic! If you want the quality of Japanese food, it's right here! Hamachi Kama was on the point!! Highly recommended. Chirashi was very fresh too! The staff were friendly and hospitable. I found my spot :)

My FAVORITE restaurant in Fairfield! This is my go to place for Japanese food especially Friday night takeouts. Been a loyal customer for 10+ years now and my kids grew up eating here. We love Ohkura! Thank you for the yummy food! Especially our favorite, Parker Roll!
