I came in for a simple California roll. When I asked if they could substitute the imitation crab for really crab I was laughed at & told there is no real crab. I should have looked at the food before leaving especially since I was laughed at, but I didn’t. When I got home I was very upset at how big the rolls were . They also fell apart when I attempted to pick them up with chop sticks , so I grabbed a fork & still they fell apart . I will never waste my money with this business ever again. I miss the old owners ?☹️ !

At one time this place was the best tempura spot around but after we just spent $75, I can sadly say that its just not good anymore ? I'm convinced it's under new ownership and that they have a new line of cooks.... Sad to say but we will not be returning.

Sadly I have to rate this low. I have loved this place for so long. But the food wasn't good. We got home and had the wrong rolls. Went back to get the right order. The sushi had a fishy smell, which is concerning when it comes to sushi. They were slightly slimy and it just wasn't what it use to be. This place is to give you great food at a good price. Now I ended up hungry after eating a meal...

I love this place. It's my favorite sushi place. I live in Vacaville, and I put my order online and pickup my order in store. I got home, and I was missing an item in my order. I was missing the Tuna Tataki appetizer. I called the store and I was put on hold by the guy who answered the phone. He came back on 3 minutes later to tell me that apparently, they didn't put one of my items in. He said I can come back for it or get store credit. I'm already home and it's raining. I'm not going back for one item. I asked if I can get a refund back in my card and he said yeah then hung up. He didn't apologize for missing an item in my order, and no confirmation of the refund.The food was okay. It looked like it was ready for at least 10 minutes, and I was already 10 minutes early on my pickup time. They weren't busy. They had one car in the parking lot. The least you can do is apologize.

My daughter picked this place for 10th birthday. They have a wide selection of all different types of sushi. Their menu is on the wall and full of pictures and an easy to understand description of what is in their dishes. The staff was helpful in explaining things for first timers like us. We ordered to go. The inside atmosphere was mom and pop-ish in all the good ways. Nothing fancy but pleasant. They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor, but we did not stay to eat. The food was delicious and filling.

Lunch outing with a friend this past Friday. She recommended this place and had nice things to say about both the grub and the staff. My friend ordered ahead by phone and our food was ready as promised when we arrived. There wasn't any other customers inside and were able to pick any of the tables we wanted to sit in.I ordered the fire roll (deep fried shrimp, spicy tuna, jalapenos, unagi sauce..forgot what else). I loved it! I honestly was looking for more kick, but, they were out of fire sauce. *Newborn baby cry* I also ordered the cucumber sunomono (a Japanese salad with cucumber). It was refreshing and delicious to eat. I got full off the rolls alone. I didn't get to finish the sunomono...makes for a great left over later on!The grub was fire (see what I did there? Lol), pleasant staff, and a location far from work. I definitely will look to return again soon for my next sushi fix. :) Honorable mention: the wall has pictures of every single roll on the menu
Pretty good but the terriyaki bowl (takeout) had a small portion of rice but other than that it was good.

I looked up cooked sushi on Yelp again. They suggested YYO Sushi to me. I called and placed my order over the phone. They said about 20 minutes. I was less than 3 miles away, so I headed in over to 1430 N. Texas St. Fairfield CA. I pulled in and immediately thought that they were closed. Windows very dark. If I hadn't seen a woman walk up and open the front door, I would've drove off. I walk in to retrieve my order. It has just come up, I heard the cook say. I was like YES, YES, Yesssss in my spirit. I knew it would be piping hot. Paid, Tipped and left. Got back to my hotel under 10 minutes. Food was still HIT. I gave them 5 stars because of the portion size. This is way more food than I can consume in a few sittings. I ate off this plate 3 times today including the miso soup. Everything was seasoned well. I am very pleased with this location. Hopefully, I'll get to try them again before I leave on Saturday.

This place was not good at all my teriyaki beef had absolutely no flavor and hardly any sauce my tempura roll looked nasty and it tasted liked it looked look at it below been to a lot of sushi places and have ordered the same thing and never looked like this

I just got finished waiting 45 minutes for my food as I watch them packing my part of my order in other to go orders I was told it was goingna be 25 minutes and it ended up being almost an hour period you think they would accompany some kind of little roll a 5 or $6 roll they didn't cough me anything all they said is I'm sorry and had me waiting all that time so yeah one star for their incompetence today and we've been going here years. They completely messed up the order. we got a combo They gave us 1 shrimp 1 string bean, one slice carrot 1 slice yam 1 piece of broccoli for $13.99. My daughter is allergic to seafood and they put that seafood sushi and the other sushi in the same container. This place is horrible under pressure when there is a crowd.
