Let me start off by saying, the setting and backdrop of this restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. Such a great place to take pictures and enjoy a serene walk around the pond. The staff was very friendly, even though we walked in and didn't have a reservation. Nor were we dressed for the occasion. I love that they give you a little starter plate of fresh fruit and veggies - it was so nice! We came for birthday dessert, and was not disappointed! We absolutely love this place! We come often and the staff and service is always amazing. The food is always delicious. We get the Wellington Benedict and have never been disappointed. The view itself is worth it. To be able to walk around the grounds after is always so relaxing and peaceful. I don't know why people think this isn't a kids place. We bring our daughter every time and have never received any dirty looks from other patrons or staff. They are always very accomodating...read full review
