Went for lunch. Asked for micheladas, but got a bloody mary mix. Food is delicious. Great music playing.

We had not been here in years. We were very disappointed in the food. For that price, food was terrible. Starting with the salsa, it had no flavor. The food did come out very fast, but looked very plain.

During my recent visit to Fillmore, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant I had been meaning to try was finally accessible. The last time I was in the area, the parking lot was so crowded that I had to skip it. However, this time around, the Yelp reviews had me intrigued, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by the traditional Mexican ambiance. It was both cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting and colorful decor. We were greeted by our server, Virginia, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations and making us feel right at home. To quench my thirst, I ordered a Modelo, which was crisp and refreshing. However, the cafe de olla wasn't up to my standards and tasted as if it was made from a machine. Nevertheless, it didn't deter me from trying the combination plate of enchiladas and carnita tacos, along with the carnita wet burrito. The food arrived in no time, which was mediocre. The carnitas were the highlight of the meal and were cooked to perfection. The enchiladas were also flavorful and satisfying. However, the burrito wasn't covered in sauce, so we had to send it back to the kitchen. Overall, the food was ok, and the service was top-notch. However, the coffee and the burrito were a bit of a letdown. Even though I don't see myself returning anytime soon, I can understand why people flock to this restaurant for the drinks.

Nice size resturant, lots to pick from the menu, love the size of the margaritas (they are huge) with interesting names of their drinks lol

Staff is great. Food comes out way to fast to be freshly cooked. If this place is recommended to you i say it's a hard pass. Only one kind of tasteless salsa and the chips have an awful aftertaste. Everything needed salt... Southern California has way better mexican food... I feel sorry for you Fillmore if this is your best place

Came here with my son had a delicious shrimp cocktail with octopus and abalone. Chips and salsa was delicious and homemade. Waitress Caitlyn was super nice and friendly and took care of us right away. She was very attentive. Asked if wanted to order anything else. Great experience! Plenty of parking. Give the a try if you're in the Fillmore area.

Not the same restaurant I grew up going to, quality just isn't there. To be fair the service was good but that was it.. and who puts ice in a Michelada like a soft drink? Smh lol
