We love Busy Kids in Folsom! We live clear across the other side of Sacramento but we will occasionally trek out to Folsom just for Busy Kids. As a mom of 3 littles, ages 4, 3, 2, I find this is the perfect indoor place to go to get their wiggles out and let their imaginations run wild. It's great for me too because I can sit in the cafe and enjoy a nice ice coffee. When the kiddos need snacking, they can come out and get some snacks to fill their appetites and go back to playing. I just wish they had another location further West like in Sacramento so we don't have to set so far. Otherwise, we would be regulars!

My first experience at Busy Kids was for a Fairy Magic Potion and Slime Event! I will definitely be bringing both of my kids into BusyKids for a play day soon :)The event was fun and incredibly well organized and every employee interaction was filled with warmth and care ?Busy Kids is full of interactive fun! My daughter was beyond excited for her fancy hot cocoa and we were entertained with enchantment for hours. Thank you Busy Kids, this is just the type of place I was looking for!

My daughter and I always have fun here, the staff is so nice, everything is well kept and clean. There’s plenty of choices for food and drinks too.

We attended a birthday party at the Folsom location. Everything was so much fun, my kids had a great time.My one concern and reason I removed a star is because of a sanitation thing. We have to sanitize our hands when we enter, and remove our shoes however, the bathrooms are only accessible in our socks - which we then track through the entire play area. Since this is a place that caters to younger children, the bathrooms may at times have liquids, aside from water splashing, that we are stepping in. I even asked if I could use the bathroom with my shoes on and was told no. It would be nice to have the option, minimally, to wear shoes and then remove them again before playing.

Took my grandkids to the Folsom location and got hit with an unauthorized tip charge. Jessica, the owner acknowledged the charge but offered no fix. Place is meh, not many toys. No return plans. I considered sharing our exchanges but it's a hassle. I'm not keen on proving myself. Owner's condescending, evident in responses. With $30, I'd opt for a picnic, bubbles, and park freedom.

We had my son’s third birthday party at Busy Kids - all the kids had such a great time and the staff were super attentive to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

We recently had my daughter's 6th birthday party here and it was such a great experience. Their party package took care of the basics and they have all these food and decor add ons available to customize your needs. All the kids who had been there before were excited to visit again and all the ones who hadn't told me they had a lot of fun. Lots of room for the kids to run around - we were there for 2 hours and my daughter still didn't want to leave. The party room can be a little tight if all the guests and parents are in the room but it's manageable. My personal favorites were the coffee shop and their huge selection of drinks and eats and then the present cart is on wheels (!!) so you can haul everything to your car in one go. The owner is very friendly and you can tell really strives to make the space special for both kids and adults. We'll definitely be back!

This place has become like family to us because we’ve loved bringing our kids here since they were *literal* babies. The environment is always clean and stimulating, with lovely updates from year to year. At home bunny visits have become a tradition since their conception during the early years of 2020. We’ve booked parties with BusyKids and they have always been willing to work with us in planning the perfect event. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you have kiddos!

If I could give zero stars I would.I have been to Busy Kids on a few occasions and was excited to take my mother with my children for her to see it and spend time with her grandkids. If I would have know we would have been treated with so much disrespect and lack of empathy I would have never visited this business.Today around 1pm during our visit we were met with a very rude employee behind the counter. In the past I have visited and brought specific food for my children as one is autistic and both have allergies. This employee refused to let my family in because we had food and drinks for my children. She continued to give dirty looks as laugh and talked about us to what seemed to be a friend who had children there. I mentioned that my child had allergies and special needs and I was allowed to have food there before and she continued to be very rude with me and towards my children. I had special socks for my son with me but not on him yet and she continued to be rude after I said I had socks for him and would put them on.The atmosphere was not inclusive at all. The staff and many of the people there were very rude to my children as well as my mother and I. They claim to be very open to all children and needs and they are far from that.To make matters worse the friend the lady behind the counter was talking to at the beginning of our visit was sitting eating personal food from a cooler as we went to talk out and was chuckling and smiling at us knowing what her friend behind the counter had done to my family about food. This is the worst customer service I have had when it comes to place I have taken my children. I will make sure to let the people I had previously told about this establishment to not visit or hold their events at after this encounter.I wish I would have read more reviews before visiting as now I have seen other posts about them not being appropriate with children with special needs and other issues as well.

The facility is nice and clean. Some of the staff, specifically one middle aged blonde women needs to work on her customer service skills in a big way.
