Service has gone downhill and workers are very unfriendly. I have been coming here for many years since they opened and have always tipped very well and enjoyed the service with amazing coffee, on my recent visits i am not even told hello and i even stood there for almost 5 minutes as the workers giggled and gossiped and didnt even acknowlege me. very sad as you are loosing a long time customer i unfortunately wont be back as i am not giving my money to a place that cant even tell me hello when i walk in. crazy how this is acceptable now in days. i have worked customer service for 15 years and this would never fly. ill stick to Temple Coffee they have beyond wonderful service and workers.

Extremely good espresso drinks. Rich wonderful flavour! Perfectly pulled shots. I've tried several different toasts from Chocolate Fish. All have been wonderful. I also get an egg occasionally. But you really cannot go wrong with an espresso drink & a pastry or cookie either.

It would have been a pleasant experience however I did not appreciate that the barista called out the names for the other orders, but then just left mine on the bar and I had to ask for clarification if they were my drinks.

I was a barista for years and am admittedly a super picky coffee drinker but CF is top freaking tier. Always super kind staff and I can genuinely never complain about the drink!
I only got the white chocolate mocha. Large one for $7.00 +1 tip total $8.00 for about a 16oz. Highest price mocha we ever paid for sure. Was delicious though! I came in for the first time and asked the lady if she can make it less sweet (less pumps) she said the large is not as sweet. So I trusted her judgment and she was right. Was made perfect. I haven’t tried the reg coffee yet but came back next day because the wCM was so good! How we this time it was more milk. It was to go and for 8 bucks I would have just asked for another but I was already gone.

One of our favorite coffee shops when we are visiting this area. We always make time to stop by. I always order a Mocha. No one makes a mocha as yummy as Chocolate Fish. My husband, who is a coffee roaster, always orders their coffee of the day and always loves it. Service is top notch and everyone is so welcoming. Very cozy, clean and nice atmosphere. Don't forget to have one of their delicious pastries as well. This is a coffee place not to be missed. They have several places around the Sacramento area. We go to the one in Folsom.
