Wow, I've been coming here for years each time I visit my childhood friend and his wife (Dave and Jan). As usual Coffee Republic exceeded my expectations. Food ingredients are super fresh. Coffee baristas stay busy. They have a deep breakfast and lunch menu for a coffee house. (I come for the food). We had a long night last night at the local rotary crab feed. Our group needs a "pick-me-up" and some great comfort food. I went for the egg, sausage, cheddar breakfast sando on cheddar jalapeño bagel. Wowzer! They even made some scrambled eggs with cheese for my dog (Thor). Not sure what the deal is with previous ratings. Not accurate. Not appropriate. THIS IS A FIVE STAR COFFEE HOUSE, that also serves some of the best breakfast and lunch comfort food in town. Enjoy!

Enjoyed the bistro BLT with potato salad. Had a sample of the house made wedding soup, fantastic--took some home for dinner. The owner is engaged with the customers, a very refreshing compliment to customer service. Go to place, looking forward to the next time.

Loved this place back when it was a pretty new place over 20 years ago. I know it probably can't, but if it could only be like that once again, with the memorably great coffee, truly outstanding sandwiches (especially the unique BLT with the many, many layers of the most delicious, thinnest and crispiest bacon strips piled thickly together), and the genuinely peaceful patio area that always seemed like a little oasis... It was a place I very much looked forward to all the time, and now is mostly only a wistful memory.. : )
Always a pleasant atmosphere and a unique layout and decorations, both inside and out. The staff are friendly and attentive. I would say that I wish their espresso tasted better and they could make a cappuccino the right way.

The staff is always nice but that's where it ends for me cause the coffee consistently tastes horrible. I've wanted to like this place so badly because it's so close to where I live but their coffee just sucks plain and simple.

Got the light roast coffee which was delicious. They have a good breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the bacon, avocado and eggs on bacon bagel. It was divine. Staff were all friendly. My friend was running late so They offered to hold my order and served it together with my friend's. I liked that very much.
