I have been going to this restaurant for yrs now. Our food of choice is the oriental salad called ying Yang. At first and for awhile the portions were generous and and we were happy. Now this Dos Coyote has cut back on their portions at half of what they were and cut back on ingredients. Now this last time we came in they informed us that the extra dressing we asked for now is going to cost us. WHAT? Its getting ridiculous whats happening here. I went to Roseville Dos Coyote and had none of these problems there. Whoever is in charge here is cutting their own throat. I will not go back to this restaurant again as they are getting greedy.

Food was bland, chicken was fresh, it tasted like chicken thigh meat. Plenty of beans and rice in the burrito to fill up on though. Chips were greasy and not good at all. This place needs some improvement with the ordering system too. Put the menu where people in line can see it and decide what they want before stepping in front of the register?!? Would definitely speed up the huge line

Dos Coyotes isn't what it used to be. I'm a Bay Area native but lived in Sac a few years. I would frequent Dos Coyotes for the flavorful steak meat and the green salsa that was sweet and had a little heat kick to it that was to die for, it was so good I couldn't eat my steak burrito without it. Anyway, I saw DC near the freeway on my way home and had to stop. I was excited and my mouth was set for that burrito but it didn't give what it was suppose to gave. I was so disappointed with the taste of the burrito and they changed the recipe to the sweet and spicy green salsa that now taste like crap. I'm mad asf! Ugh!

I really like this facility. The food is fresh. The service is friendly and fast. They always get my special order correct. I have a food allergy so they are diligent about that preparation and no cross contamination. The salsa bar is always stacked with fresh salsa and many varieties. The food is fresh and hot for my take out orders.

My favorite dish is the Coyote Bowl. Today I got the Mahi Mahi with just lettuce with pico de gallo cause of my new keto lifestyle. The cashier was very friendly and was attentive to my diet restrictions. The atmosphere was casual You have the option of eating inside or outside. It took a while to get my order about 20 minutes. My friend had already finished her dinner by the time I had gotten mine. I had to ask that Pastor if he could check on my order. He said that it was taking a while because of the mahi-mahi needed to be cooked. It was that nice clean restaurant and food was mediocre but edible.

The carnitas here has always been my favorite. We came just for crunchy carnitas tacos and then wouldn't do it... said I could only get soft! So I just asked for the soft taco and a hard shell on the side and they wouldn't do it. Literally makes no sense. You're telling me you don't have crunchy tacos but its an item on the menu? Just very weird experience, super bumped because I've always loved this place and never had an issue before :,(

Dos Coyote's Bobby's crispy beef tacos. The meat is fork tender shreddable and simmered to a flavorful deliciousness. The shell is fresh fried without the greasy mess. I also like their fish tacos with choice of mahi mahi, shrimp or salmon. It is served with this agave lime slaw and special Chef slaw served on warm tortillas . Yum. The salads are fresh, flavorful, and ginormous. The salsa bar is pretty outrageous in the best way. Not only do they have a bunch of different salsas in varying heat levels, they are all pretty darn flavorful. Zingy and fresh tasting. But with that fancy salsa bar, they do not offer complimentary chips. Each entree comes with a small handful of chips though. If you want more, you have to purchase an order. For folks not familiar with the local franchise of Dos Coyote, the food is more America Southwest themed than Mexican. The first ever Dos opened up in the college town of Davis in 1991. That location still exists. Anyway this location has a relaxed shady outdoor patio. Dogs are allowed neck there. The interior is pretty with the standard Dos interior design aesthetics. No problems with customer service. It is counter service with the food delivered to your table. The prices leans towards restaurant than taqueria though. However I think some menu items are priced well and others not so much. With that said, I appreciate this DC and enjoy throwing it in my local dining rotation.

It's basic , but always good . Never had a problem . Enjoy sitting out back with dogs then going for a walk around the Lake ! Fajita salad is great !!! Always specials - love the soup but it's too hot right now ! Fish tacos yum

The food is good, but this location fails MISERABLY for any on-line orders. I had a business meeting, so I placed the order on-line thru the Chow Now system that Dos Coyotes uses. Showed up at the confirmed time to pick up my food and my order wasn't ready. In fact they NEVER checked the Chow Now system until I showed up, then they said "oh there it is" - duh! Had to sit around and wait for my order. Don't order on-line from this location, walk in only.

Great service and food. Price is reasonable. I always order the Adobe chicken salad and hubby gets the border burrito ranchero style. Both are delicious and portions are huge (enough for another meal if you can manage to not devour it. )
