We just moved to Folsom and I have been on the hunt for good Thai food. I decided to try this place because the reviews for pad Thai were good.....with some people stating it's the best they've ever had. Unfortunately my experience was not good at all. The noodles were over cooked and slimy. The tofu was rubbery, tough and tasted burnt. The overall flavor was strange (bitter for a lack of better words) and not like any pad Thai I've ever had. It was almost like the food was old and reheated. It definitely didn't taste or look fresh. It came with a slice of lemon, which is odd as Thai food usually comes with lime. I'm so disappointed because I literally could not eat it after taking two bites. $14.00 straight to the trash. The search continues....

Yet another place where you walk in and there is one person running around like crazy and you have to sit and wait for 10 minutes until they notice you. Even though the restaurant is not close to full.

We tried this place last night and it was pretty good! I love that it's family owned and operated. The food was good and came out quickly, the coffee was also really good too! The prices are a bit high for just two entrees and two drinks, but inflation is everywhere and rent is probably high due to the location. Staff is friendly.

Super delicious Thai food, incredibly rich and I can tell an ever improving menu. From reading the other reviews I was in shock! And then realized that the chef must respond to customer feedback amazingly well because this food was a delight! The chicken satay was cooked to perfection, i wish that I lived in the area because I would be here on the regular. The woman who served us was also incredibly punctual and just the nicest :) you will definitely enjoy the food, no questions asked!

First off their hospitality here is amazing. I was greeted by a kind lady who also cooked my meal. I'm currently eating here for lunch and I ordered the green curry with chicken and Thai tea. My food came out hot and steaming and that is so important to me. Also good is so rich in flavor and you can tell their ingredients including the vegetables are so fresh. The Thai tea went so well with my meal because it wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed. I will definitely be coming back .

I'm torn on this one. The food is overall decent, and the place seems clean. There's almost nobody going there so the wait times are very low. The staff (owner?) is friendly and responsive. And the amount / quality of food for the price is excellent. Regarding the food, the proteins (beef, chicken, etc) and vegetables look and taste good. The noodles are soggy and look like they were attacked by cats. The rice seems like it was cooked ages ago and reheated.

Sai Varee has great Thai food. It's a small, family-owned business and the food tastes not only authentic, but all dishes have a rich taste. We continue to eat there and the avocado curry is unbeatable, especially flavor-wise. Everything we've gotten there has been delicious.
As recent transplants to Folsom we tried Sai Varee Thai Cuisine and were happy to find a good Thai restaurant right around the corner. We have been there several times now and we continue to enjoy the food. The staff has always been extremely nice and friendly.

New Thai place to try and glad we did. The Tom Ka was rich and tasty. The yellow chicken curry was excellent and also enjoyed the basil chicken, which had the yummy smokey broth at the bottom. Price is very reasonable and service was fast and accurate. I will be back.

The BEST Thai Food! We eat here about once a week :) My go-to dish is the Thai Basil Chicken with fresh ginger. My fiancé loves the red curry. My sister and her husband love the pineapple curry and pad Thai! The egg rolls and crab Rangoons are some of our favorites as well. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the owner, Apple, is always so warm and welcoming! We absolutely love this place!

Best Thai in town. Hands down! They are so friendly and the food is delicious and always ready when I arrive. They are a bit out of the usual restaurant areas, but it's worth driving here if you are craving good Thai food.

My husband and I eat here all the time. This is one of the best Thai places in the surrounding area. It it family owned and made to perfection. The service is beyond great and they are very professional. With COVID, they have been doing takeout only so you can enjoy from your home. The food is very tasteful. We get the Panama Chicken, Beef Yellow Curry, and Pineapple Fried Rice. I would highly recommend trying this place if you like Thai food.
