We came by for UFC fight night after eyeing this location for a long time. TLDR: Fairly good food with a few sour apples, service was strange, lots of events! Our server (who I guess was Magby from the receipt) was interesting to say the least. He was at our table often, but he didn’t seem very friendly / personable. Maybe an off night? Hard to tell. There were Bacardi representatives giving out free shots of their mango Bacardi when the fights began. Hey free alcohol is free alcohol - props to HOM for getting events like that set up.Fries seem like a place that could use some help. Our garlic fries were very soggy, and our friend’s sweet potato fries came out burnt first. Once replaced, the new sweet potato fries weren’t very good at all. The deep fried Oreos were also really bad. Soggy, no crunch and had very little flavor - disappointing as a dessert. Our grilled steak sandwich was the highlight of the night. It was amazing, lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Would recommend 1000/10. Drinks were also top notch, very refreshing and with a fair pour on the alcohol.Table chips and green salsa 4/5Cool cucumber mule 5/5Guava mojito 4.5/5 (could use more guava)Ahi poke nachos 3.5/5Bacardi mango 4/5 (from Bacardi reps - not part of HOM)Grilled steak sandwich 5/5with garlic fries 2/5 (soggy)House of mules burgerwith sweet potato fries (fries burnt first, then eh after replaced) 4/5Deep fried Oreo 1.5/5 (No good)For local reviews or travel content you can find us on Instagram @sunsetourist

Food and service was good. We got a bunch of appetizers and they came out hot and tasty. Cool atmosphere. Overall experience was good, and would encourage anyone to go check it out.

We’ve been going to trivia here weekly. Liz is an awesome server! She is always super friendly and on top of everything. The food has improved with the new menu. Salads are all a good choice. Nachos need nacho cheese instead of beer cheese. We wonder about the oil here. Is the fryer hot enough? Sometimes tots and fries are soggy. We like the chips and salsa, but the chips sometimes taste like oil needs to be changed. Overall, the staff here appear to work hard and the atmosphere is fun. Keep working to improve the food and this place will be a home run!

They revamped their menu since opening, and added a side door. Good Happy Hour! Super friendly staff. I got the taco salad for lunch another time and it's massive, with a crispy shell...?

BBQ sliders were great. It is a bit loud for conversation during Thursday trivia night, so plan accordingly.

I've had great wait staff every time. The food is great. My husband and I have tried different things on the menu and liked everything we've tried. Recommend trying if you have never been!

This place took the spot of the old La Bou. It was our first time going and it was happy hour. We ordered some wings, which were a buck a piece at the happy hour price. They were tasty and cooked perfectly. The house made ranch was also delicious. We also ordered the French dip which was ok. Nothing special about it. The mushrooms were paper thin and it could've used a bit more meat. It also came with horseradish sauce which just overcomplicated the sandwich. If I get it again, I'll ask for it to be removed, along with the arugula (which doesn't belong on a French dip in my humble opinion). I upgraded to garlic fries and the total was $18 for that dish. A bit overpriced for what I got, in my opinion. The garlic fries could've used some Parmesan cheese but were otherwise good. The last thing we got was a pretzel with beer cheese. I'm convinced this was a frozen pretzel you'd get from the grocery store. It's normally $9, thank god I got it at the happy hour price. It tasted as I expected it would. The service was decent.

I enjoyed House of Mules. I went there to watch UFC fights because they don't charge a cover. We had awesome service and the food we tried was great! Robert was awesome. We will go back for sure!!

First time visiting this place. Sports bar atmosphere, plenty of TV's. Friendly wait staff, happy hour too with pita chips & salsa. The drinks were fine, the food needs some work. Jambalaya was only warm and very bland, no flavor. I put the salsa from the chips to add some flavor. The Turkey burger was all right but the sweet potato fries tasted "old"They did have live music, and the band was pretty good. Our 2 ladies were dancing on the side of the table. We did enjoy our time mainly due to the band and the drinks. It is a fairly new place so we'll wait a bit and try it again. Our joint rating is 3.5 stars
