I ordered 25 regular tacos that came with double rice instead of beans, and when I received my order the tacos or street tacos, not regular size and there was no rice so I called and they were willing to refund me 30% of my order to which I agreed. They were to credit my credit card I used to pay for it, and when I went a few days later to look, there was no credit they have failed to return my calls and now it’s two weeks later, and I still have no credit or no return call. It’s very upsetting to spend a lot of money and not get what you paid for and then not be refunded what they told you they would.

Sadly this place has gone down hill since the last time I tried it when they first opened. It was a Thursday evening around 730 and we were the only two people in the restaurant. It had a very cold vibe, not very friendly, and the restaurant itself didn't feel super welcoming. It is also a sushi restaurant, which seemed like an odd paring. The Margarita was very sweet and the tostada was ok, I ordered pastor, but they were out, so I got the asada. It definitely lacked and we sadly won't be back again soon .

Great location on a major thoroughfare with great visibility from South or North on Folsom-Auburn. Ample parking, which has been recently resurfaced. Great menu, wonderful carne asada tacos. Fish tacos are good too, but are overly topped with sauce/toppings. Very friendly staff.

I came in for a late lunch, Leilani was my server. She was excellent at making sure I had what I needed and was quick to bring me the bill and have me back on my way. This was my first visit here and the food was great too!

The sushi chef was patient, helpful and created a dish that was delicious. I've gone back several times. Consistently it's the freshest sushi I've had in a long time.

I don't think I've had such bad service in a really long time. This really stood out. It took over 20 minutes for someone to take her order and bring us some waters. About 20 minutes later my husband and my son were served. I was not I was told by the waiter. My food was three minutes behind. I waited an additional 15 minutes by this time. My husband and my son were already done with their lunches. I had ordered one simple roll , I asked for an avocado roll and had gotten an avocado cucumber roll at this point I didn't even wanna argue because everyone was waiting for me to be done. Unfortunately they didn't even bring so sauce with my sushi so I had to wait an additional eight minutes.I personally had to get up and get forks for a table, I had to get up and get napkins for our table. And have to walk into the city restroom to get Ginger, because there was zero attention from the waiter. He never asked how her food was. Our water glasses were never refilled finally when I had just walked up to the counter to pay because we couldn't even get anyone's attention for a check, the owner acknowledged us, and told the waiter to get us our bill. He had to tell him an additional two times so three in total for him to actually bring us our bill as a waitress myself I would never leave a meal without a tip, but I paid to the penny because this was honestly ridiculous, for all the restaurants in Folsom, competition being high, their service and quality of food was lackluster.Every patron in the restaurant was coming up to the counter to ask for various things because they were completely ignored. Mind you there was ample staff, and very few tables. There are so many Mexican restaurants that will greet you with a smile, and be very grateful for your business. This, unfortunately, is not one of them. Save your money go somewhere else.

The tostadas were very good. Everything on it was fresh. The carnitas were tender and crispy, perfect for a tostada and perfectly seasoned so you can actually taste the carnitas. There salsas are very good, especially the habanero ( HOT). Very clean and fresh, feel good atmosphere! Staff seems to help each other out. A little bit of music would be nice.?Parking: Good parking area for size of restaurant

I don't recommend this place. It was horrible not only was the bland, no flavor whatsoever but the service was the worst. I'm being generous by giving it 1 star and that's because the enchilada was the only decent food we had. I had had the Chile relleno plate and the crispy carnitas taco. That's not what I expected. The sauce on the Chile relleno was sweet, which did not taste good. I don't expect it to be spicy, but it's definitely not sweet. The beans were so bland, and the rice was also clumpy and bland. The carnitas in the taco were also bland, with no flavor, and it was cold. The beef on the street tacos was overcooked and so dry. Once our food came, the waiter left and never came back to check on us, and the place was not busy at all. He went to hide in the back and never came back to check on us. It was hard to get more salsa or even get our waters refilled. We had to keep tracking down the bus boy, which he kept forgetting to bring us what we asked for. And the prizes were ridiculous high. Not good quality and quantity. I have had much better mexican food at other places. I will not be going back

This place has the best street tacos I have ever had. The guacamole tasted very fresh and the chips and salsa were great. Service was very friendly and quick. The menu had lots of options and everything was reasonably priced. Outdoor seating is available. I am really glad to have found a great Mexican restaurant close to home.

This is purely for the horrible service we received tonight from Aaron. He was such a smart a** when he was taking our order, he has this demeanour like he didn't want to be there and it was an inconvenience. After 30 ish minutes I finally fetched my tables silverware because no one gave us any. I grabbed it and he looked at me and said oh you need napkins not oh my gosh so sorry no one for you silverware. Also we had to ask for water repeatedly and they weren't busy at all, we were sitting in the upper sushi part. Just an FYI they charge for every chip refill you ask for! When our food finally came the Mexican food was sub par definitely has been so much better in the past, the kid who served us called my brothers burrito an enchilada. The only wonderful service we received tonight was from the girl from Venezuela she is the sweetest!

We heard so many good thing about this restaurant so we decided to try it. We came around 6:45pm on Sunday night. We entered from the Sushi door & there were only few table occupied but some tables were not cleaned. No one acknowledged us & I had to fetch one of the server to prepare a table for us.I sat facing the sushi bar so I could see the chef prepared the food. While I was eating, I saw one of the servers asked another server (the one who served us) if they had spoon or something to get the ginger for the sushi. The other server shrugged and told him to just use his bare hand and immediately showed him how to do it (with his bare hand!!!). The server who asked then proceeded to use his own bare hand to put the ginger in the small plate and served it to the customer! It was just GROSS!!! I immediately felt sick to my stomach since I knew our server used his bare hands to wipe the table with a towel rug - I just hoped he washed his hands before touching those ginger!!!!- california sushi: good & decent sushi- spicy tuna roll: good spice level- shrimp tempura roll: the shrimp tempura was crispy and the sauce was good. I wish the sauce wasn't too much as I could only tasted mayo on my sushi.- chicken burrito: the portion was big but it lacked of flavor. When the server came, she only gave the burrito to us. Within few bites, my hubby said it was bad so he walked to the other side of the restaurant & asked for salsa. Few minutes later, the girl brought him some salsa & chips. Even with salsa, hubby said the burrito was not good & he didn't finished it.Not sure if they were short staffed that night or whatnot but the service was super disappointing. The servers who used bare hand to pick up the ginger for the sushi should be retrained about CLEANLINESS! We won't be back here.

Food was excellent, great portions, authentic Mexican restaurant,Chips were a little cold and hard. Should have served 2 portions of Salsa before asking. We felt a little rushed to order, didn't feel initially fully welcome but everyone warmed up to us. Yet they were super efficient, quick, and quiet.

I've been here a few times now and I have always had quick and friendly service. Good quantities of food - big burritos, lots of meats and stuffings in general. Perhaps a little heavy on the rice in the burritos though. As far as the flavor, I find it is kind of lacking. I can't really put my finger on it but it's missing something. Spice? Salt? Definitely needs some extra oomph in the flavor town department. Due to that, I don't see this as a spot I would go out of my way to get to, more of a convenience situation. That kind of bums me out because it's checking all the other boxes for me.

More like 3 1/2 stars. The chips and salsa are good, the tacos are stuffed with plenty of meat, everything tasted fresh but lacked flavor (until we added more salsa). Server seemed like she would rather be elsewhere. We will try again before we mark it off our list completely.
