Samuel Hornes has spoiled all other burgers for me. I always get my burgers well done coz I’m that paranoid of minced meat. But even a well done burger here was so juicy! Definitely the best I’ve ever had. So much so that I don’t eat burgers elsewhere.

You might walk in this place and be like, "Oh no, another hipster burger joint." Frankly I hope you all feel that way so you stay away from my favorite burger spot, as I sit here weeping, not tears of anguish, but joy, because there are so many serrano peppers on this burger that for the first time in 15 years as a Sacramento native my sinuses are finally clear. I just smelled the fresh scent of laundry for the first time since the 2020 fires and will be going to the nearest field in the morning with open nostrils to frolic as if it were Gods' intention that I do so. 1/10 Don't come here please, don't order the Nutcase burger and sub serrano peppers for the onions. don't enjoy the ambiance or the option of outdoor seating and friendly staff and a nice beer and bourbon selection. Totally go somewhere else, thanks :)

Easily in my top ten burgers I've had from restaurants, and I spent years as a route driver visiting over 100 cities/towns in California and tried multiple burgers in every one. In Sacramento county alone I've probably tried at least 50 by now.

Wonderful food and service . Very fun atmosphere. I would recommend the restaurant if you want a delicious burger . Not expensive especially compared to other places with cheap meat .Well worth the money.

The technician,Lloyd, was straight forward and honest with his diagnosis and estimating. It was very helpful to know during the appt that the needed repair parts were not going to be available immediately. This helped us make the decision to move to a combo wall oven and not another double wall oven.

Don't go to Downtown Folsom usually BUT after recommendations this joint did not disappoint, I had the Johnny Cash burger, thick cut bacon, onion straws, zesty BBQ sauce with thick cheddar cheese, this is how it's done! My friend had the steak dip sandwich, tender steak, blu cheese sauce on a toasted roll mated with house made au ju, I'm having that next time cause this joint made my list!

Very surprised this place does not disappoint! The steakhouse dip was tender flavorful blue cheese and AUJUS dip was DIVINE! Amazing! My buddy got the johnny cash burger with tots ! It was also perfect! Generous portion of fries & tots! The pliny the elder on tap russian river brewing was crisp and perfection! Small and cozy it was packed and great service! Dont miss this one! Definitely on the list
The Steakhouse Dip and Blue Cheese fries are AMAZING!! The meat is so tender it melts in your mouth. The Au Jus for dipping is super flavorful and perfect for soaking french fries as well as dunking the sandwich. The bread is light & airy and dense & chewy all at the same time. They have a vast assortment of beers & ciders on tap, with a large selection of rotating options AND lots of bottled options as well. Seating is limited to some booths and tables but there are high top tables perfect for sharing and making new friends. Samuel Horne's Tavern is the perfect place to go and get a beer with friends while enjoying delicious food.

We went in on Jan. 13 for lunch. Stood there a good 5 minutes while the woman behind the bar was talking to a couple at the tiny bar and putting glasses away. She ignored us so we walked out. Went to the Folsom hotel where the lady came out and welcomed us in as we were looking in the window. Glad to spend our money at a place that appreciated us and the food was excellent!
