This place is delicious. I always look for good tacos and happy I’ve found this place. Great flavors. I had chicken and al pastor tacos, delicious! My husband had the molcajete plate and loved it! Im excited it’s close to home too! Yay we’ll definitely be back! My husband and I love trying new places, especially Mexican restaurants. The inside is interesting with bamboo decor but that didn't take away from how good the food and service were. We came in on a Saturday after and it was pretty busy but we're greatly right away and seated with chips and salsa. We ordered a steak burrito, 2 street tacos and a chicken enchilada and they all were delicious. We also tried a margarita which was just ok but was also only $6.Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She even noticed we didn't eat the burrito we ordered and asked us if everything was ok, which it was, we just ordered it to take home to eat for dinner.

Service was decent, very nice staff. Two out of three orders were wrong so we didn't finish most of it. I did sample the Asada, it was decent. Shredded chicken was juicy and flavorful. Enchiladas were disappointing, sauce tasted like canned Las Palmas. Beans tasted like nothing, rice was decent.

With a Mexican restaurant on almost every corner in Folsom, it is hard to get a meal that you would want to come back for. Not so fabulous. We took a chance and tried Taqueria La Fogata today. We have found THE spot to go!!!100% This place is the best in the area. Hands down. The best!-The waitstaff is super friendly and helpful-The place is clean, decorated a little, nice music.-The food is crazy good! My sweetheart had the Chile rellanos and carnitas enchilada, I had al pastor. Scratch made, authentic, traditional style food and presentation. Even the rice and beans were perfectly done and presented.-The owner came out and asked about the food. The best!Folsom now has a good Mexican restaurant! We will be back for sure.A really good experience.

I came to this Taqueria on a recommendation, and I was extremely impressed and surprised with the quality of food served at this establishment. The steak in my burrito was cooked to perfection and the flavors of the salsa were incredible. The service was fantastic. I definitely recommend

Food is delicious. The birria tacos are absolutely to die for. Food came out hot and fresh. Ingredients were of great quality and not greasy whatsoever. I ordered a michelada to go along with my meal, and it paired perfectly. For dessert, we had an authentic churro. I sincerely have not had Mexican food of this quality in a long time. Alongside the great food, the service was stellar. Our waitress was kind, informative, enthusiastic, and very friendly. She took so much pride in her job, I mistook her for the restaurant owner. I'm looking forward to coming back in the future!!!! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
