I had one of the worst welcoming in this place. I booked a room in this hotel since their website indicated that they were pet friendly. No additional information was posted about specific animals that were allowed so knowing this right when you are in the middle of checking in was really a boomer. However, what stood up the most was the unprofessional way that the guy handled the situation. Note that my 2 stars is only given to the lady who actually educated him and had him comeback to offer a mediocre apology.

Good standard Marriott service and stay at this courtyard. They have a cafe for coffee and food. I almost always get the oatmeal. You can order sides of eggs , sausages and other things if you don't want the full meal. This is the type of hotel I like for a short stay. Clean rooms and they have a nice gym. They do charge $12 a day for parking.

Gave us the wrong size room, never followed up and have the gaul to charge for parking in Folsom.

Terrific choice when deciding upon a hotel in Folsom with clean, spacious rooms at very reasonable prices. The hotel is very conveniently located and has all the amenities one needs for a short stay. The staff was lovely and Rose, Rachel & Charlie made us feel more than welcome. Thank you!

The Marriott Courtyard is a great choice when deciding upon where to stay in Folsom. The location is very convenient, amenities are aplenty, the rooms are clean & spacious and the staff (Rose/Rachel/Charlie) is terrific.

I was very disappointed with this particular Courtyard in Folsom. Our room was VERY tiny and minimally stocked. I had to go downstairs to pick up two washcloths as there were none in the room. We were given one small bar of soap with the expectation that we would want to use the shower gel provided in the shower. I prefer a bar of soap and most hotels realize that people want a choice. There was no hand lotion provided, but there was a makeup removal tissue. I am sensing that after the pandemic, that Marriott has decided that they can get away with providing the m minimum for their customers. The lack of a free breakfast option is a pain, and I believe that we were charged for parking. Marriott needs to have a bit more respect for its customers and really consider what would make their stay more enjoyable. I have been a loyal customer for many years, I will now avoid the Courtyard brand. By the way, we had a fire alarm the night we stayed (Thanksgiving). We are pretty sure that someone was smoking weed and set off the alarm. Maybe the front desk people need to remind its customers that the alarms are very sensitive.

Great location near malls, restaurants and HWY 50 Checked in and at the front desk nice lobby area with a bistro that was currently closed. Rooms were clean , very quiet Throughout the night and comfortable. Mini fridge in room , tv screen was small and the room also had a sofa bed. Parking for a fee and no complimentary breakfast Fitness Center, meeting rooms, outside patio Laundry room Great Stay!

NOT at all what was represented!!! First the bed was uncomfortable. We asked if they had balconies where we could sit out. They booked us with a small room with a balcony where we could barely get out let alone sit out. And The screen was broken and bent - felt like an old run down DATED room overlooking the freeway for $200. The restaurant was just part of the lobby and didn't really exist. This was one of the worst hotels and certainly not a Bonvoy class. NEVER again. Should get no stars but that was not a choice.

We stayed one night in a 2 queen/pullout sofa room on June 11th. The first room they put us in did not have working AC. When we called at 6 pm to ask that it be looked at, they said they did not have a maintenance person until the morning. We had already unpacked the car into the room (we were on a longer road trip). They offered to change our room, so we repacked and moved our luggage to another room. We were in town to attend a party, and this made us late. Then, there were no sheets on the pull out sofa, so we called for sheets and the desk attendant asked us to come down to get them because she was the only staff on duty. Finally, we had no bathroom light in this room at all. We didn't bother to call because we knew there would be no one to help us, and we did not want to move rooms a second time. In the morning, we called to get someone to fix the light, and they said they could send someone at 10 am. We were checking out that morning so... I asked if they could take something off the bill for our inconveniences and he said absolutely. They took a whole $12 off for parking (thanks??). The kicker was there were no available parking spots on the property so we parked in the lot of a neighboring business. We paid over $300 for our room. Not a problem if it was what we expect from a Marriott. This was more like what you would expect from a Motel 6, not a Marriott property. We were very surprised and would not stay here again.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and upon check in I was told that 4 weddings were staying at the hotel. Unlike most places we have stayed-we were unaware of any heavy traffic or adjacent partying-the hotel was very quiet with a nice in-room a/c unit. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Had to use iron/ironing board, and hair dryer . All worked well. Steps to a Bev Mo, fast foods and even a really nice Dim Sum restaurant and bar. Close to lots of shopping and freeway. Also has an in-house Starbucks and bistro.

I am so stiff from trying to sleep in one of the hardest beds I have ever encountered that I was thinking of changing hotels. However, I don't want to inconvenience my friend who would have to pick me up and transfer me to another hotel. The restaurants nearby are nice as is the Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel . The staff is excellent and the hotel is clean.

enjoyed our 3 nite stay - comfortable room, friendly staff, clean, convenient to plenty of food and shopping and access to the freeway. (you have to pay for parking and for breakfast) however, whoever is in charge of the grounds has not walked around the property lately. trash scattered here and there, broken limbs from trees and shrubs, weeds, missing mulch. just looks shabby and uncared for.

Lady at check in counter was playing on her cell phone and says she'll help us in one moment. Not off to a great start. Another lady came out to check us in. No mention of a $10 daily parking fee which is something they should verbally tell customers. There's no special parking either with a garage and there's plenty of businesses around like fast food places that would have free parking so I do not understand the parking charge other than CORPORATE GREED. They also have a sign outside the hotel that they're not liable for stolen or damaged things that happen while your car is parked there. I can hear people next door and they are talking at regular volume voice. Sound travels so much. No one wants this when sleeping and whatnot. Also my back died with the beds we slept on. Breakfast is not free if you choose to dine here. I've gone to other Marriott and they offer free breakfast. There's an ihop restaurant a small walk away for breakfast or various fast food places. The location is good though and close to the Palladio plaza which has many restaurants and shopping and movie theater.
