12/2023 Update:I don't know whats going on with this place, it goes through owners like $2 drink specials. Recently in there they had no food menu saying "they are working on it". They have a decent beer selection but the liquor selection is garbage unless you want well style drinks don't expect anything mid-top shelf. You can't tell who works there and who doesn't it looks like a free for all of random staff. I ordered an old fashioned and it was poorly made with a bunch of small ice cubes, in a glass that looks has been in rotation for the last 15years. and ?mineral water? Yuck! They have live music but its always a bunch of 70yr old cover bands. Few times I was there I thought I was at a retirement hall no more than 4 people under 45yrs old ..lol. This place has some potential but seems they'll lease this out to anyone with 0 experience in bar/restaurant industry. They keep doing the same things even keeping some of the same staff that failed this place in the past. This is a decent place as far as clean goes. Bathrooms and main area were clean! Seems to be family friendly which is cool but also not appealing for typical bar crowd. Decent beer list and variety. The food I'd give 3/5 based on the 3 dishes we ordered. Standard deep fried bar snacks really nothing exciting. Most disappointing part was a 1/3 of the TVs were on the Sunday Ticket logo considering only 3 games were on. If you're going to promote Sunday Football least set 5mins aside to change channels when games switch. Some of the bar staff was more into talking to the regulars than they were on table touching. Had to get up and order my drinks and food in a line like McDonalds and you get a number, Not a good idea..... If I leave my house to get away and watch the game I expect to have a waitress or at the very least rotating attentive staff, not get up myself for everything especially when its pretty slow. One pool table which was covered so it was useless didn't even bother to ask. They have a decent outdoor area with no smoking signs which is awkward as I been here before under different owners and it was smoker friendly. Also no TV's outside so that area was useless for us even though the weather was nice. So if you smoke, plan on going to the parking lot this is not for you. There were no menus offered or on the tables, you have to grab one when you walk in. Although the menu was on the TVs behind the bar they were almost near impossible to read unless your standing at the bar and I have 20/20 vision.I will probably give it another shot as I guess its under new ownership "again" I just hope the new owners pay attention to the customer experience aspect and not the current concept cause its dry and disappointing.

Worst margarita I have ever had for $14. Tasted like straight sweet n sour and the lime was so brown.. I did not stay for food.Update: they charged my card an extra 10 dollars totaling $24. No website. No answer after attempting to call. I did not authorize this and I hope its not because i shared my experience on here.

Under new ownership. The owner goes above and beyond with all customers. He's on premise often and loves to banter with everyone. Great attention to detail and the food is good.

I ordered an avacado bacon cheeseburger and garlic parmesan fries to go. The total was $20.50.At this price I had pretty high expectations, but I finished my meal with some complaints.First of all, they used a thick slice of onion, the whole slice, not just a few rings. It was like an onion steak, so I picked it off and continued my meal with no onions. About halfway through, my burger buns became extremely soggy. It's one of those burgers you have to eat as fast as possible before it falls completely apart. By the end of the burger I was left with a soaked pancake for a bun. Disappointing. That being said the ingredients seemed good and cooked properly. It was a good burger, just didn't live up to the price. The fries left me wanting more garlic and parmesan, didn't feel like they used much, could barely taste those flavors if at all, but the potatoes were good and crispy.Overall I think it just didn't live up to the price. If it was a bit cheaper I probably wouldn't have had this expectation, and probably would have been more satisfied overall. It was good but I probably wouldn't go back because of the high prices.

I wish they had more/better service but they're new and giving it their best. Live music Saturday pm always cool to listen to. I live in the neighborhood and enjoy free music in my backyard but walk down for a drink most weekends.

Great place nice and big on the inside and quiet if you don't want to be outside listening to the band playing. The outdoor patio was amazing for a band to play !!! Love that there is multiple places to sit around the stage area and you can hear from every corner of the patio!!!

I love this place! Great atmosphere, good drinks and a good selection of food that does not disappoint. I had the fish tacos and it brought me back to Hawaii. I would definitely recommend.

Best quesadilla and fries I've had, the sauce is really what makes them both outstanding if I'm gonna behonest though. Bartender was super sweet. Despite showing up an hour to close, everyone was super nice and it has the feel of being the local spot. Next time I don't catch anything at Folsom Lake, I will definitely return

First time here. I love that one of the servers gave my niece 2 extra tokens to equal 4 (when you purchase tokens, they don’t even out enough for the kids to get things out of the mini player options as they have to use 4 tokens per player)I helped myself to a menu for us as none was offered by anyone. I ordered a kids chicken strips and fries, chicken sandwich and fries for me. When food finally came, my niece’s meal had no fries. My sandwich was hot and fresh, my fries were definitely old. The temperature was significantly different than the sandwich and some were chewy and cold. I had to ask for fries for my niece’s meal as it was clear the kitchen forgot them... Previous reviews say Canyon is under new management and I hope they take this into account. Will not be back anytime soon.
