I was surprised to see that gas here is the most expensive compared to other Costco within a 30mi radius:(

Regarding vanilla ice cream . Everytime I order here at Costco Fontana beginning last month (august up to now, September 25,2023) their vanilla ice cream is always hollow in the center . They should fill up the center not just the sides .

Went to Costco today. After paying went to order food at the Kiosk. So like usual you just wait till your number gets called. So five minutes waiting the cashier yells rudely to get in one line. Everyone looks at each other like what? My daughter said the San Bernardino store does it like that. I go Fontana doesn't do that. Apparently that's why everyone was waiting for their number to be called. So why have the kiosk if you have to do your own order then stand in line to get your food. 2:15 pm Take the kiosks out and do it the old way. Very disappointed & also that cashier was totally rude.

This is for the whole pizza wait time- We ordered 1 pep pizza at 5:07pm.....Right now it's 5:43pm, 40 flippin minutes more when I was told by a femaleEmployee who started at 4:30 pm told me 15-20 minutes more.... I understand it gets busy, but do not worth the wait. They're barely on #456!

Today Costco allowed me to commit credit card fraud by opening up a new membership under my name using my parent's credit card, but thank god they stopped me from using my parent's Costco Membership to buy my sister's graduation gift.Full Story:I love Costco. I don't love Fontana Costco after today. Like many others previously complaining about Sabrina, one of the front cashier managers, middle aged, lots of makeup, I too have encountered her "caring and loving charm." My parent was unable to come down to Costco due to them having COVID, so I went down to purchase ONE item that was a gift for my sister for her graduation (which was tonight). I do not live anywhere near Fontana, it is approximately a 2-hour drive down a mountain for me. I would have gone to the one in San Bernardino, but the gift was not in stock there and they told me to come here. Which none of this mattered to her, just as long as I purchased a membership. I completely understand the purpose of a membership, but as "Costco policy states" you cannot purchase something with your parent's membership while using your parent's credit card. BUT what you can do is purchase a membership with your name using your parent's credit card. I am absolutely embarrassed from the scene I endured. I was late to work all because my appearance did not match the photo on the membership card I had on hand.I look forward to yet again another inconvenient time of getting reimbursed and being added to my family's Costco membership for free after committing fraud by paying for a new membership. Thank you Fontana Costco and your "lovely" employees! You truly do know how to "help."

I had the worst experience at this Costco today. I have been a member for many years and the last several years my husband and I had a joint account. He recently renewed online and was not sent a new card. The app's QR code was not scanning right. When the front end supervisor (older brunette with 10lbs of make up on - you will know her if you have a run in with her) came over "to do me a favor" by looking up the account, she was extremely rude and continued to tell me our membership expired. I asked her to enter the number in manually. After several attempts (her entering the incorrect numbers) she finally entered the right number (had to tell her a few times) and then magically the renewed membership was found. When she realized it was her error, she became snarky as heck and told me, I was not on the account and told me she was "not gonna let me shop here today." I was polite and respectful through our entire interaction and while giving her the account info. She was so rude, loud, and unwilling to do her job, I walked out almost in tears. She treated me like trash and it was like she was purposely trying to humiliate me. I have many years in customer/public service and would never talk to anyone the way she did. She was so rude and dismissive. Just wanted her to add the store had just opened, was not yet even busy, so you would think service would be halfway decent. My husband came in and the same rude woman came up to the cashier while he was checking out and told the cashier that his membership was not going to work. The cashier then keyed in the numbers and it worked just fine. My husband pulled up the account on the app to show the rude lady that his wife's name was listed on the account as well and she refused to acknowledge she was wrong or apologize for her rude behavior. Then she tried to accuse my husband of lying saying he must have just added me to the account prior to him checking out because "it was not there before." This was not the case. She then told my husband that she was doing me a favor by attempting to look up our account. Thankfully I had called him to ensure the membership number on the app was correct. He let her know was on the phone and he heard the way she talked to me and everything she said and that is not how you "do favors" or provide customer service. Thankfully other employees heard how she was now speaking to my husband and apologized for her. This lady needs to be demoted from her front end manager role to somewhere she will not be interacting with customers. We live in between the rancho and Fontana stores and have spent 1000s of dollars on this particular Costco over the years and have never experienced anything quite like this. From now on we will be shopping at the Rancho location.

I really appreciate the great customer service that I receive when I go to this Costco. I want to give a special thanks to Elroy. There has been several occasions when I am walking out with heavy items and he makes sure that extends an offer to help me get the groceries into my vehicle.Today it was raining and I noticed that Elroy was there helping out customers with their groceries. Thank you, Elroy for always being helpful and friendly.

***This review is for the returns process only***I came to this Costco in Fontana yesterday to return some Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. The return merchandise line was not very long. Usually, there are only 2 staff members handling returns. But today I saw more than 2 people which was nice... thank you for the attention and speed of service! The staff member (Andrea) who helped me was very pleasant and nice. She didn't ask me any questions on why I was returning the items which is another plus. She researched on when I bought the items and provided me a break down of regular priced with no discount versus regular priced with discount. They will only refund you what price you bought the items at and what discount was given at that time. For example, if there is a sale right now for $7.00 off, but you bought the item with $6.00 off. They will take off $6.00 and not $7.00 for the return which to me is very fair.Anyway, the return transaction was very smooth. The way I like it... and that's how it should be all the time. Thank you Andrea and Costco for making it easy! Happy Costco'ing!

Always comes here for good deals. Food, clothings , shoes, health care, appliances, fruits, vegetables, plants and even car needs. Can't beat food kiosk deals on pizza, chicken bake, churros, sundaes , shakes and HOT DOGS. It can be crowded often times but we've tried coming here an hour or two before closing and it's less crowded most of the time.
