We got the birria & shrimp tacos which have great flavor and broth in the meat.Would love to try the birria ramen & pretty much everything on their menu, it all looked so good. I also enjoyed that they seem to just specialize in the main staples you’d like to see at a Mexican restaurant and their menu wasn’t too expansive.Great atmosphere and service too!“

“This is the best burger in Orange County! The people working here are genuinely kind and helpful.The location isn't great but they should not deter you from trying this gem out!I suggest the Hole in the Wall Burger and the Carne Asada Fries.“

“Found this great restaurant when I was picking up a pizza I order and decided to give it a try. I was so happy to have found an official Birria restaurant so close to my home. I normally would have to go to Santa Ana or L.A. just to get a good delicious birria dish. Now I am so happy I gave this restaurant a try birria is delicious and authentic and the customer service is good. The restaurant is small simple not much of a dine in place or have the ambience for staying to dine in but gave this place a 5 star still because the birria is just so delicious and authentic.“

“I enjoyed a late lunch here. California roll with real crab and calamari. Both were excellent. The calamari had lemons and other things fried in with the calamari with a light batter. Best I have had in a long time. The California roll had real crab and was very good. Nice light lunch. Great atmosphere. It's a no frills place, but I took an offered plastic seat to wait while our order was freshly prepared. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice and service was quick to go. So, if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food in Lake Forest get on over to the Mexifornia taco truck on Raymond Way across from the library. You have a real treat for your taste buds waiting for you! I will certainly be back.“

“The food here is fantastic! The fish is lightly battered, so you actually taste fish! Unlike most fish and chips where you get suvh a heavy battered fish, it's hard to eat. Spikes uses all the best fish and fresh ingredients in all their food.The staff is always friendly and helpful.“

“The tacos at Chronic Tacos are quite substantial, roughly the size of a small burrito. Considering their generous size, the Taco Tuesday price is quite reasonable. Typically, I would consume three tacos at other places, but at Chronic Tacos, one and a half tacos suffice. An added bonus is that the carne asada taco comes with guacamole topping, which is a definite highlight.However, one drawback is that I find the food to be overly salty. Both the meats and the rice tend to be on the salty side. Nevertheless, Chronic Tacos may still be among the best taco options in Irvine, although superior tacos can be found outside of the city limits.“

“I used to go to Chronic Tacos a long time ago when I worked near Westwood and when Wee Man owned one in Redondo Beach. I enjoyed the food back then and was happy that I still feel that way. This location is on the old Freebirds at South Bay Pavilion. I'm happy that another good Mexican food place filled the vacancy. The place is very bright and clean feeling. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner came to check on my family and I to see how everything went. We were happy with everything and let her know. She was appreciative and asked us to let our friends know that they are there. She gave us a couple coupons for a free taco too.“

“They have a good special that they keep rotating for about $5.99. If they take it off, I stop going!! They should always keep it permanently on the menu, since I go at least 2-3 or more times a week. Think it is called "Deluxe cheeseburger combo".The thing that really brings me back are the curle fries, which I substitute for the reg fries for a 40 cent mark up!! They have the best curley fries of any burger chain!! Crunchy and soft potato at the same time, without being oily!!! Also comes with a drink!
