“Such an authentic small town spot. When you find a place that's heavily frequented by the locals, you know you've found something special. Had a delicious white mocha that was rich and flavorful. Also enjoyed a maple donut, which I believe was baked locally. My partner had the cold brew, an avid Starbucks fan, who couldn't help but admit that it was way better than his usual morning corporate coffee. Service was quick, prompt, and friendly. So glad we stopped in!“

“One of my favorite stops for a latte! I've been loving their seasonal tiramisu latte, so fun and aesthetic! Their food is also good, of course, cafe coffee and breakfast items are not cheap, I mean you can't even go to McDonald's without flinching at the cost, so be prepared for this to not be your basic cup of black coffee and croissant. I haven't ordered something at Retrograde that I haven't liked, bummer is, the place has become so popular over the years that a wait is almost always required when stopping in, with very minimal seating available.“

“I had the Herbal Mocha (brewed with roasted roots with reishi and maca added) and it was delightful. It was a rich and earthy bouquet without being bitter like some similar drinks can be. My barista (who I think was Emilou!) was very kind, and gave me some guidance on where in town I should check it because I haven't been in Sebastopol since 2007 and it's changed a LOT since then. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their tea selection.Dietary restrictions: Good variety of milk alternatives“

“This is truly a special bakery!!! Amazing pastries, cakes, and artisan bread! I still have to grab a few of the pastries. I recently have the spinach quiche and this was the best I’ve ever had, so fresh, soft, pillowy, and melted in my mouth, the crust was flaky and baked perfectly. The croissants are also my favorite, buttery. The strawberry mouse cake was so good, it wasn’t too sweet, I could eat the whole cake! Grabbed a few artisan bread, olive bread, baguette, and Danish rye are among my faves. This is Parisian Boulangerie in Healdsburg!“

“Love this spot for coffee and a breakfast burrito or sando. The owner is fantastic, very kind. Every time I am there, the other customers are also friendly and kind. She draws in good people and for a good reason. Support small business owners! Buy a coffee at Ana's!“

“Love the vibe here. This is my first time back in Sebastopol in 17 years, and the hodgepodge art vibe reminds me of old Sebastopol much more than downtown. Good to see the humble old spirit of the city still lives in a few places around town. They have a wide and eclectic variety of teas (including loose leaf). They also have display cases of various raw crystals (not the polished ones like in most stores downtown), all of which are for sale. My soy latte was great too“

“This place is a real gem. Wonderful teas and the cacao is extraordinary - especially the Euphoria. Just wonderful. The staff are really friendly, respectful and knowledgable. However, it is severely let down by only ONE very important thing for me... the fact that they serve swine meat. For an establishment with such an obvious wellness / spiritual underpinning, I was really shocked to see it on the menu. The most spiritually corrupting of all foods. Whether you are Jewish, Muslim or a shaman in the Amazon, pig meat is always strictly OFF the menu. And why is that?Pigs are the only animals whose organs can be transplanted into humans successfully. Their eyes are so much like ours, it's uncanny. According to cannibal tribes, humans taste like "sweet pork".That's all I'm going to say. Please guys, get swine off the menu!“

“Amazing coffee and food items were tasty. Atmosphere is cute and bright. Great start of a day or place for cheery conversation or WiFi surfing. Have been to the location in Ukiah which is a bit more laid back but this keeps the food and drink quality and a wonderful stop for independent coffee house fans.“

“Such a wonderful little spot in an understated strip mall in Sebastopol. Owned by a local family, the service is so attentive and welcoming! The menu is extensive, including all the classics for breakfast and lunch plus some unusual offerings like cabbage borscht, gumbo, and a delicious homemade mushroom gravy served on biscuits or as a side which I almost always order- it's great on poached eggs, the potatoes served with eggs, or even just to dunk toast into . Always a great experience, I will return to hole in the wall over and over.“

“I've been coming here for a couple years when I'm on my way to the beach or Guerneville. It's always my go to spot for lunch. Super laid back and had an outdoor area to eat overlooking the Russian River. The food is always good, and large portions. The service is always friendly!“

“Stopped by this adorable little spot for a smoothie and cookies. When I walked in, the smell made my mouth water. They also have soup and lite lunch fare. I got a chocolate chip walnut and a lavender honey cookie. Delicious. I met the owner and she was the sweetest. Her helper too. I can't wait to go back. Bringing some home to San Diego with me.“

“Tiny dining room. Arrived at 5:00pm for dinner and there was one of the six indoor tables available. During our 30 minute meal we saw a few people walk in hoping for a table who were disappointed that they had to wait. So you may want to plan your arrival outside peak meal time hours. Happy welcome from owner. Instantly the menus and water were put on table. Small & focused menu of the Vietnam - American cuisine we all know and love. See the Yelp photos of the one page / two sided paper menu. I ordered the combo vermicelli bowl. Bambie got the chicken rice plate. We both ate every morsel. Tasty food. Satisfied and healthfully fueled up for our evening adventure.“

“A sweet neighborhood coffee shop in Larkfield Shopping Center, near Molsberry Market. I stopped in recently on a Friday morning to do some work. I ordered and enjoyed a large latte - super smooth and easy to drink. It was just over $6 with tip, which is pretty standard. Thankfully my laptop was fully charged as I didn't see many power outlets. I scored one of the 6 bistro tables inside, just ahead of the rush. By 10am the space was full of locals happily greeting each other as they enjoyed their coffees and bagels. Very sweet to see and hear. They have a few other tables inside, and maybe 2 or 3 small tables out front. In addition to coffee and bagels, they sell some pastries and breakfast items. There's no printed food menu so check the case and ask what's available. When I finished my work (and ran out of battery), I walked over to Cookie...Take A Bite on the other side of the small shopping center and purchased a box of cookies for a gift.“

“Great Guerneville stop. Great food at great prices. Attention to detail is great, like the spoon holder for your coffee stirrer so it doesn't rest on the table...good size portions of quality ingredients for a great price. The staff is bilingual, attentive and efficient. You can tell this place appreciates and values their customers, a rarity these days which makes all the difference!“
“I'd say that the quality is only middle-of-the-road for Starbucks locations, but the service and ambience are both great. Employees are always super friendly and go the extra mile, which is a really nice surprise coming from the East Coast, service is super fast, and I love the mixture of seating options and the working outlets. Recommended as a place to stay and enjoy a drink, although there are better options in Healdsburg if you're taking an order to-go if your'e not .“

“Yah wear your mask 5 ft then take it off 10 seconds later to eat for an hour and until you leave. That makes so much sense. If people are that scared, stay home and get as many boosters as you can.As a nurse in Sonoma county I believe in freedom of choice especially when it comes to medical decisions. Mandating vaccines are a joke.I believe in common sense and if this owner is okay letting people walk 5 ft thru the front door without wearing a mask before they take it off, good for them.Thank you from me and the 20 nurses I’m talking to right now.“

“I enjoyed delicious coffee and a perfect Greek yogurt parfait with Nancy's granola and fresh blueberries. The space was inviting: clean and bright with friendly employees. I was happy to find they were well stocked with savory options, not just sweets. Lots of appealing drinks in a refridgerator. Costeaux on the Go is a fantastic addition to the Sonoma County Airport.Note: they don't take cash. Cards only.“

“The customer service here had always been amazing. And the quality of the coffee is consistent and great. That being said, I often order medium drinks that do not fill up the cup. I want the amount of beverage I actually paid for. $7 for a small mocha in a medium cup is kind of a bummer. And please get lids that actually fit your cups!“
“I love a good loose leaf tea on a rainy day. The RR Tea company offering a huge selection of hand crafted teas. It's the only place in the area I'll buy my tea. The owner is sweet and crafts all teas herself. They also offer tea bags, accessories, chocolates, clothing, candles, etc... the shop is adorable!I'm a local but it's a must stop for out of towners! Cheers!“
“Super cool neighborhood spot. Great beer, great food, fun events, friendly staff. One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had! Outdoor seating only (covered and with heat lamps in winter), it's a small spot with a bar and a few tables. Dog-friendly, they have water bowls for use. They usually have a game or fight or something along these lines on the bar tvs. There is a small lot for parking and plenty of street parking.“

“My daughter wanted a chocolate foot, she went there and came back with a maple foot with sprinkles, a jelly donut and a cinnamon roll. These days lots of portions seem to be getting smaller. The foot donut was bigger than what I remember, my daughter agreed. The foot still had the raised yeasty flavor with nice texture. The jelly donut was also huge and jam packed with raspberry filling. The jelly donut was almost the same size as the cinnamon roll. I used to go here in the 70's and the quality is just as good as I remember it.“
“This is the spot if you are like me and doubt the health value of greasy fatty or sugary breakfast foods that are standard in the American diet. This place had good breakfast alternatives with simple and clean ingredients , yet full of flavor.“
“This place is really small but really cute I loved the amounts of donuts that they have the staff is sweet. The donuts were good and I got a breakfast bagel I was pleasantly surprised with the bagels they are so soft. Will definitely come again. They offer many things“
